Agreed you've come a long way since Warbiola and Pedrinho. I'll happily admit I was worried for the first time in years that we might not get all 3 points.

Murty must stay.(genuinely! I think he has the makings of a good manager)

Their goals werr all great but many based on hit & hope tactics combined with individual errors (largely attributed to us having neither centreback who was featuring since murty took over).

Two things stood out for me.

The Gers fans cheering the foul on Scott brown only to realise two seconds later that they had lost a goal

Murty waving his hands in the air while in the background Brendan was managing the game

You started very well with a good positive look on the game. Scoring twice etc

Then "Their goals werr all great but many based on hit & hope tactics " destroyed your credibility

Rogic scored a worldie, Dembele's was the result of a tackle from our player.

Windass was gifted the ball but had a hell of a job to do to put it in from there.
Add to that we missed 2 of the biggest sitters I can remember.

They got the luck on the day, there was little between the sides overall Celtic shaded the midfield with us having more chances.

We lost the game because of our own squandered chances.

I get a sense we are going to beat them, the cup is the best place for that this season. shame it's so long away.

Rogic goal: only shot from distance in game and to his credit he nailed it. 9/10 though that type of shot doesnt go in. Aka. Hit and hope.

Dembele goal: cracking finish, but ultimately a long ball that should have been easily delt with. Aka hit and hope.

Edouard goal. Classic counter attack. No complaints except that goss didnt push him out wide. Not hit and hope. Just clinical sadly for us on that one.

Morelos played, he missed. Celtic won but we should take the positives we had the chances to win the game and only horrendous finishing stopped us from that.

We should take the positive of that game was in our hands, we let ourselves down rather than Celtic taking it away from us.

I agree about the Dembele goal. Well taken but should've been dealt with no problem.

Both sets of CBs were schite. Celtic won tactically with some better players, but there is still progress being made and we definitely gave Celtic a fright in the first half.

Second half we were awful. Celtic's experience and extra quality won them the game.
