Lurker I am amazed as we played against a team we should be performing way better then we did over the 2 legs. I wouldn't have mind if we went out unluckily but in a way we were lucky it took them so long to score against us.

Hafi was born to be amazing. Mou's tactics are moribund.

L40TL to be fair we were shocking in that game as well but Liverpool pretty much gifted us the win.

Too many players in this squad have so little team intelligence that it leads to a complete lack of cohesion, which is then confidence sapping.

Pointed out yesterday that this was an obvious scenario - especially if Jose got the selection wrong. And boy did he get it wrong.

Starting with Lingard and Rashford = incredibly stupid. Rashford is an impact player & only ever worth half a game. Lingard is a championship player and there is nothing anyone can do about that.

Starting without Mata and Pogba = ludicrous

+ Sanchez is a luxury that can only be afforded if the likes of rashford and lingard are not there as well.

The line-up was very poor - and worsened by replacing fellaini when there were three more suitable candidates to come off.

the line-up deserved everything it got.

as for the nonsense spouted (by some) over and over again about negative tactics etc., absolute garbage. There were times when there were FIVE united players in the opposition box whilst in open play. a non-attacking style was not a problem, it is just that three of those attackers were (and are) clueless w@nkers
