Yeah they should fear their attack. As City should theirs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
i could easily see these scorelines happening
Liverpool 2-2 City
City 4-1 Liverpool
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Or it could easily be
Liverpool 2-1 City
City 3-2 Liverpool
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not ‘easily’
This city side are a class above you guys. You just lost to us and we’re supoosedly awful
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Those scorelines could just as "easily" happen as the ones you suggested.
Yeah definitely. It’s a hard one to predict. Both sides have the attacking capability to blow the other side away. These two legged ties don’t play out like league games though due to the nature of it being a too legged tie. A goal or two one way or the other can really swing it. So I couldn’t call this one with any certainty even though I fancy City to progress.

Anything could happen. What I know is we went down to ten, when we were losing anyway, and when we beat them we took all our chances and the keeper had a mare (good finish though) and we still only one by the odd goal. They brought on B Silva and he was excellent. Not sure we can do that.

Exactly, it will be different to a league game. For example, when we were 4-1 up against City in the league game we switched off and let those two goals in. But because the points were awarded at the end of the game and we had a big cushion, it would not have been as potentially damaging as it happening at the end of the first leg of a CL tie. Therefore our concentration levels should be higher. And the fact that we've got a good centre back in there now should help too.

They are favourites and rightly so, but anything can happen.
And you could also say City’s concentration levels should be higher as there’s more at stake than three points in a league they are walking. But it doesn’t really work like that. Both teams have an attack that is better than their oppositions defence, so you’d fancy this to be a high scoring tie.
It’ll be a good game. Almost as good as United vs Sevilla π
Not really ..but i dont think we will progress ..
We must put it up to city at the eithad ...

I think City will win both legs. Liverpool on their day are great and City should be cautious but I also think the defeat at Anfield has skewed fans view on this tie a bit.
City were poor at Anfield yet still managed to score 3 and only lose by the 1 goal, equally Liverpool were poor at the Etihad but were destroyed 5-0. Liverpool have a decent chance to win the tie but I just think City will be too strong for them.

I predict Juve will win the league.
So
Liverpool fans. Do you fear playing City? I could be wrong and you do.
I thought that you would have nothing to fear after playing them at Anfield. And I thought the score at their ground was not a reflection of the game when you had XI men.
Of course you should be wary of them but I don't expect you to fear them.

You said they had nothing to fear. They certainly have something to fear as City are one of the best sides in PL recent history

It is worth noting that both of those games were played without our best defender.

We certainly have something to be wary about.
If teams in the last 8 of the CL "fear" each other, then what's the point really?
Everyone should fear Salah.
Be requestex this but is nowhere to be seen. Are you taking thread requested now robb?
Head to head directly Liverpool have looked better than City so they have nothing to fear so long as they're at their best.
Firmino
I’m aware of that but you’re not 18 points behind City simply because you haven’t had van Dijk for that long, it’s because City are a far better side than you. You will cause them problems but I just feel they will be too good for you.
