Mental to suggest KT won't be one of the first names on the team sheet.
He will most likely be made captain too so I expect him to either be playing left centre back or left back with Robertson playing further ahead.
He's already said he won't be playing right back so that for me leaves Paterson and Hendry from the current squad but what about the boy Tait from Motherwell?
He's looked solid every time we play them and would do a half decent job.
If KT wants lb hes going to need to go to a big club and perform
Its Robertsons position hes really grown into his role a Liverpool.
Exactly Cheese.
Celtic fans seem to think he has some divine right to be in the team even if it means playing out of position.
Not for me, second choice LB or left in a 3.
Time to kick on if he wants the LB spot.

KT is still the better defender but Robertson offers more going forward in my opinion.
Bears think Robertson is better, hawd the bus!

You's only think that because Tierney defends against Imrie and Alston and Robertson defends against Sane and Sterling
What do you reckon then robertson lw with kt his understudy.
Personally im not sure who is the better player but one is consistently playing at a clearly higher level

Weeheey!!
On current form, Robertson is probably ahead of KT for me. But I think we should be looking to play our best players as much as possible, so think mcleish would look to fit both of them into a system that suits.

Eh, not really ... Tierney is one of the best tacklers in the game, an art that is virtually deid in modern day football. I'm not denying that Robertson is having an excellent season, playing at a much higher level domestically ... but with the overall paucity of resources available to Scotland, only an eejit would think that Eck won't be utilising BOTH of them somehow.
I guess the argument will be settled the next time both Robertson and KT are fit for International duty ... and Eck duly selects both to start!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Settle doon.
P.S I never said the wouldn't both start I said Robertson is the first choice LB and Tierney can't be sure of a place.

Had a wee giggle at that nonsense too
You're comparing eggs 'n apples here , both are good players but the weekly level of opposition is of a completely different standard ...hence Robertson should get the nod. If Tierney were to move to EPL and continue at the same level then they'd be an argument.

I do love it when we get all selective.
Not to forget his numerous MOTM performances in the CL eh
Listen, both should be playing, and both have their own attributes.
KT as LCB is something I've championed for a bit now anyway so I'd be happy with that.
The issue is, who goes next to him? Berra? no thanks.
McCrorie maybe?
Surprised there has been no Liam Lindsay, even though Barnsley are doing Shiite, he has been getting rave reviews.
I forgot about that boy, I remember Rangers were linked with him.
I'm sure Celtic had him as a kid.
Should of been given run out, captain of Barnsley aswell

MOTM in a team that lost 5 from 6 doesn't hold much weight.
I'm happy with Tierney as a LCB if we are going with 5 at the back, if we go with 4 he doesnt fit in imo unless he's going to start playing CB at Celtic.
Robertson and Tierney both have to play, it’s a no brainer
