Douglas appears to have had the season of his life at the same time Scotland have Robertson and Tierney also available at LB/LWB.

N'Diaye and Saiss are nailed on to go to the WC, I hope Neves gets the nod too for Portugal as he can go right to the top.

It's shame that Vinagre has been sidelined due to the rules relating to loan players.

But off subject, how about this for the dive of the century:-

I think Tierney is injured which gives Douglas more chance of a game

Former Wolves keeper McCarey who is now with Ross County has been called up by Ireland

Bit early for a pre-season warm-up game.

Wolves U23's through to the quarter -finals of the Cup having won on penalties after a 1-1 score. Flatt saves two in the shoot out.

Congratulations to Phil Afuso Ayeh for playing football for 13 minutes tonight, he came on as a sub in the 97th minute

And congratulations to our scorer tonight. There’s only one Ming Yang Yang

Hattrick for Bale now makes him Wales's all time highest goal scorer. Nice brace for Vokes as well.

Shame for Edwards that he retired just before the amazing Wales goal-fest.

Wouldn't be the first time we have lost to them

Might be a good time to mention though that mighty Costa Rica did knock mightier England out of the last world cup

Not strictly true cinci ol' bean. England had already lost their first two matches and couldn't qualify even if they beat Costa Rica. As it happened we drew 1-1 with them.

Matt Doherty get's his first cap, albeit as a 63rd minute substitute.

Costa Coffee finished above them so that is embarrassment enough

Amazing that Doherty has never been capped before, makes you wonder how deep the Irish pool is when he has been a solid player all along, also makes you wonder how shallow the welsh puddle is also.

posted on 23/3/18

Sure was a embarrassment, but drawing 1-1 in the heat of Brazil seems better than being a goal down on your own turf.
