2 of Smalling,Jones,Rojo,Baily,Lindelof,Blind and Tuanzebe I can see leaving.
Obvious choice at the moment will be Smalling and Blind.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Jones needs to be binned
Lindelof is crap
Rojo is always injured

Those 3 should be the ones to leave

We have some promising young defenders in Bailly, Lindelof and Tuanzebe. The first has bee very good when not injured, though a little rash at times. The second has done well in Europe and getting used to the league here and the last is very promising. But our more experienced defenders are not great. Smalling is not a modern defender and hasn't improved much. Rojo is a decent backup but really it first team material. A decent Jones is never gonna be a top top defender has he's always injured. He is useful though.

So a good top class experienced defender would help in the development of the younger three.

In all honesty Robb, do you expect Mourinho to be in charge after this May?

I would say it's 70% - 30% that he won't be.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

He’s signed a new contract so it’s very likely he’ll be at the club. Maybe won’t last into a fourth season but all depends on how well we do next season

I've read this a few times from you Robb. You don't think he'll last into a fourth season but also think he should start the third in charge.

There is no way in hell Jose leaves with mission complete after winning the treble and Pep as a disciple of his football so this infers that you think he'll make a bigger mess of things at some point next season (after spending £200m+ in the summer) so why on earth should we keep him?

Lindeloff has a long way to go to become a first choice. Has looked awful so far. Rojo when not injured is decent, as is jones.

Haven't saw any redeeming features in Lindelof yet. Rojo at LB is pretty gash but I love him at CB, attacks the ball, is physical with his man and is quite happy to stride forward with the ball. Looked at our best lasy year with him and Bailly at CB.

He’s improving us and I’m sure he’ll improve us even more next season. He may never beat Pep to a PL title but perhaps no one will. Jose usually leaves good squads for the next manager so there’s no real harm in giving him the benefit of the doubt

Well he needs to do things differently than what he has been doing if he's going to keep his job.
