Anyone remember which pub side knocked Spurs out?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Think it was the Italian Brighton.
The actual real genuine authentic Brighton beat Arsenal quite recently.

Makes Mutu's claims about Ibra not being injured and having a fallout with Jose a bit more likely to be true, especially after Sanchez talking about training with him for a month.Injured players don't train with those who are not.
Shame we'll not get a farewell sub appearance. Was great in his first season and an icon of this generation of footballer.

Gent (or was is Genk?). Whoever it was though it was a poorer team than the Belgian one that we knocked out.

we didnt spend £500m to lose though

You certainly seem to be doing something different to us to keep your impressive losing streak up.

Love how united fans are looking back on last season like its the Treble season.... You won the league cup and quit on the league for last month so you could win the Europa league against a bunch of pub sides and proceeded to stink out the Champs league once you made it.. what a club, what a legend !!!.,.. Sad
----------------------------------------------------------------------
or, in other words... Spurs' dream season

A disaster transfer. Did he even play any games
----------------------------------------------------------------------
At least he earned good money
All things are relative, particularly when comparing Man U's legendary transfer dealings.
I'd agree... relative to other more recent speculative punts on alleged talent Ibra was an exceptional choice.

He’s no Sánchez
Would have liked to have seen him at his best in this league as he's a great character. Coming back from that injury at that age was always going to be a struggle. I think he'll struggle in America but he's had an amazing career.

Zlatan Ibrahimović: "A great player… No, that's not me. I've had games in which I was totally invisible. And still scored. That's what I do, but great players will never do that. They carry the team, allow others to play better. Someone like Zidane, Bergkamp or Jari Litmanen."
