We are really scraping the barrel if Mulgrew still gets a game
aye you're right lets continue with the exact same boring t it for tat articles that are on here every single day
Anybody except people fae Frasebrugh, Elgin and Forres bought tickets for it?
Mulgrew has scored something like 14 goals this season
and we have no decent defenders
best form of defence in this case is attack
It’s not tit-for tat, he plays for Blackburn in England in the 3rd tier.
Wow what a terrible squad . May be worth McLeish playing Robertson wherever he intends to settle into position before KT is back?
That midfield is weak as p!ss. Will miss Brown massively
Let's hope it is the dawn of a new era for the national team. Club before country for me, but it is about time Scotland starting getting results.
That said, I will be watching the Germany v Spain friendly on BT Sport. That's how much of an interest I can raise.....
I think the midfield is actually very strong, the forward line is weak and so is the defence
Forgot this was on.
Mind you I've been away from society for a while.
Christ we used to make utter tattts of ourselves with over confidence.
How in any way shape or form is the midfield strong?

?
McTominay
McGinn
Cairney
Armstrong
Ritchie
that's a decent midfield tbh
I honestly can't comprehend how you'd look at that midfield and think strong.
Just a bunch of try hards v little quality.
McTominay looks a decent player, we all know what McGinn brings to a team, drive, good passing, pace, tenacity
then Cairney is probably one of the best players in the championship, Armstrong can turn it on in that position and Ritchie is one of Newcastles only creative sparks
not saying it's strong but its certainly decent
that's all without Forrest whos having his best ever season
McTominay is playing the highest level and consistently, Cairney and MacDonald are on form, Ritchie needs to be utilized properly he is a fantastic player, McGinn very tidy player, Armstrong I think on his day is unplayable.
Cairney has been brilliant for Fulham this season
Alot of EPL clubs meant to be chasing him
I think it's only the midfield that's decent for Scotland to be honest
I like big Callum Patterson. Still think Celtic should have taken a punt on him.
Is that that McLaughlin the Jambos keeper you have selected in goals that I said on a thread 4-5 weeks ago was currently the best in the league and was told naw by all and sundry (not you Ghod). He has been excellent this season and would happily see him get a chance but won't be surprised if Eck goes with international experience. Maybe get 45mins though
Midfield looks no bad - would rather have Forrest in for a bit more pace - maybe drop Ritchie and move Cairney left side?
Still think CB is our weakest area - would rather guys like McKenna get used now though and see if they can do a job for us rather than relying on the "old guard" all the time
Mulgrew is having a belter of a season so can see why he's in - be interesting to see who he chooses as captain when everyone is available
Wonder how many subs are allowed in this game? Some of these friendlies get ridiculous and the game gets littered with 6-7 subs each. Understand the need to give new squad players a run out but turns the games in to a total farce.

Scott Brown anyone?
Decent team just shame our strikers are not international class. If Griffiths is injured for the games that matter we are screwed.
Said a few months back would like to see McKenna and Lindsay (Barnsley) in the squad so with McKenna in this squad hopefully Lindsay will get in once the likes of Mulgrew have retired.
