PL's Most Expensive Flop - The Vote

So it was a close call, but Pogba won the vote then.

He was dynamic and influenced the vote with his limitless talent. Just like how he does on the field every week.

You can't be the fulcrum when you've been dropped for a youth team player

-

Are you referring to the fact that he missed a few games recently through injury and McTominay got game-time as a result? I assume that's what you mean - anything else would be ridiculous.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
You're deliberately misconstruing what happened.

Pogba was dropped because Mourinho wasn't happy with his performances and said he trusted the youth team player more. He was on the bench and came off it for one of them I watched so it can't be blamed on injury.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Pogba was dropped because he was injured, got rushed back too early and was then used by Mourinho as the fall guy for the team performance.

The fact that Mourinho then dropped McTominay after one bad performance and started Fellaini against Sevilla - which ended disastrously - should tell you where the problem lies; it's not with Pogba
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
So there is no problem with Paul Pogba?

He's played as well as he could possibly play?

Its a good job TOOR and Winston don't know about this thread
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I've already cast my vote. I was told I'm not allowed to make fun of Pogba or The Lambeau Leap would cry.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I wish someone had told me I wasn't allowed to make fun of Henderson before I made you cry.

Why would you choose an article about the PL's Most Expensive Flop to make a joke about Henderson?

He has played as well as anyone could expect of a player being misused by his manager. Half the time he's been dumped in a midfield two. The rest of the time he's invariably performed well enough, in spite of Mourinho.

He's not playing at the level you'd expect of a superstar, but then he doesn't have the same quality around him that he did at Juventus.

Because £ for £, Henderson was a rip off.

Strange behaviour.

Wum article? It's only a wum article if the comments are designed to provoke a negative reaction.

Frankly, I was startled to discover that derision of Henderson isn't universal.

It's an article about the PL's Most Expensive Flop.

It gives you an option of 5 players which Henderson will never be apart of.

Why would someone even think about mentioning him?

We have. When you claimed Henderson, i then told you Henderson has been great value at £16m, who then went on to be captain for club and country. You then said he hasn't won much. I told you that you were being stupid as winning trophies is a team thing, not an individual player. You did the old hardy har har bite na na na na na routine. I called you out on it. You then decided you did it because people were creating articles on Pogba, when it was actually your own fan from your own board who did it.

As I said on the previous thread, a flop is something or someone who has failed to meet the desired expectations.

Henderson came with promise, nothing more.

Pogba arrived as the worlds most expensive player, a fancy hashtag and the weight of the world on his shoulders and he has been very lacklustre and is clearly a flop.

Having said that, I do think Pogba can turn this form around but it may require a new manager and possibly even a new team.

51 of the 83 votes are for Pogba being the biggest flop in PL history.

Pretty conclusive.

Willing to bet that Pep and Conte are fuming for missing out on VVD. Transformed the Liverpool defense and is looking to become one of the best in the world.

Some would say 75m is a bargain (if you consider his influence and talent), but now it's, safe to say that no rival fans can say he's a flop, while the jury is still out on Pogba.
