Not a huge fan of the T20 tournaments, it just doesn't seem like cricket when a player smites a 6 and you just get "that's a nicely struck short into the crowd" from the commentary box whereas if a player swings and misses you get a "OMG IT'S A DOT BALL, WHAT A DELIVERY, DOT BALL!!!!"

However, you do see some incredible innings and remarkable bits of fielding. You just don't get to see a lot of really good bowling because it's mainly a batsman's game. The more interesting contests are the low scoring ones rather than 200 plays 190.

Obviously it's an important part of the game though due to the cash injection it brings. The county game wouldn't survive now without it.

PSL was far better.

CF, are you going to add fixtures and so forth to this thread? Looks a bit bland atm.

There doesn't need to be a thread for IPL, it's not as if people do one for other domestic competitions so why should this be no different.

I dislike most domestic T20 tournaments including PSL,IPL,Cricket Bash League,etc.

Starts today... Mumbai take on Chennai, Mumbai this year lack spin options, having let Harbajhan move to Chennai, whilst Chennai are lacking any real power hitters this year.

Think there is demand for it, tbh. People will be dropping in and out of watching it, as it is pretty hard to watch every game for most, so will help people keep up and discuss it.

Would be nice if scores/fixtures are in the article, but that is up to the OP
