Anfield to City is like Stamford Bridge for United. You just know the outcome before a ball is even kicked.

Can't count City out though yet.

Again though the City team bus was that badly damaged it can no longer be used.

Not a fan of Lovren but he was very good tonight, he looks a different player when hes that committed and aggressive, when hes hesitant he looks clueless, probably just needs to play at 100% all or nothing more often. With a more defensive team he can cause theres more likely gna be cover if he loses.

You are short of a proper Defensive Midfielder and a top class Striker.

Mendy would have made a massive difference tonight, it is incredible to think how you've played this season without a left back.

The clean sheet should mean game over..

But...

the first half was just plain bizarre.

Walker, Kompany and Otamendi all had parts to play when City conceded. Not good enough. There was no organisation and were all over the place.

If the linesman knew what he was doing it would have been 2-1 which would have been a fare reflection of the game.

Jesus turning down £90k a week? Get rid as soon as poss.

Liverpool police are as vile as their fans and always have been.

Shouldn’t have started Gundogan.

Looked better in the second half but that was too late so Liverpool just went tight. Think we needed the away goal but the only real opportunity we created was the one given offside.

Gundogan did nothing apart from increasing KdB's workload.
