Never too many articles to pay your respects on for a legend mate
The main man of Darts.
Never afraid to give an opinion and will be sadly missed.
He was darts for many years. Great player and character. Such a shame.

RIP Eric
If it hadn’t been for Eric, Keith Dellar, Jocky Wilson, John Lowe, Bobby George and all those other characters of the time I probably wouldn’t have taken to darts. That era made for good viewing. Very Sad news of Eric’s passing.
He was a big Chelsea fan as well. I met him once in a blues pub in small heath, he was doing a charity darts thing. We used to use the pub pre villa games. We went back post match and there he was. When he discovered we were Chelsea we had a rofmght old chin wag, very nice bloke.
It's been a bad week for losing some of the finest members of our tribe.
