Well to be fair kids play Spyro too, But there will also be older players with fond memories of this game.

Crash Bandicoot remake was a very successful remake.

I've played the Crash Bandicoot re-make, which I enjoyed as I used to like them first time around.

Never played Spyro back in the day, so probably won't bother.

I didnt say they didnt I was asking the question of whether it was a kids game or not.

Just seemed like the total generic 3d platformer with nothing particularly great about it. I always just thought it was a game that was simple enough for young kids to grasp?

Bandicoot was at least a little tricky in parts as far as I can remember

To be honest delboy never played it myself, I know it was very popular in it's day and fans have been calling for this remake.

How it compares to Crash I have no idea.

Just to be clear, Kids play Playstation too was aimed at myself, as that is what I meant to type in my earlier comment, certainly not aimed towards you.

After this is released I want Soviet Striie and it’s sequels rereleased . I wish I could get these games on App Store.

My Old man used to beast the life outta Desert/Soviet, Nuclear Strike, was driving me mental cos I never got on my PS.... I ended up introducing him to Command and Conquer on the PC and the rest was history. Easily the greatest games of all time no question, no ifs, no buts. It was a decent game but any game that freed up my playstation all to myself is officially the greatest game ever.

Even to this day you can walk in my dads house to the sound of crashes and explosions and the female voice of "new construction options" and "your base is under attack" followed by a number of expletives !!

It wasnt as good on the PS1, far better on the PC. I had loads of patches for my old man too, so to him it was like having a whole new game when I added patches and mods.

I always enjoyed the big skirmishes on it... some fights would take hours though

I've never really played Spyro properly apart from on a demo on ps1 around 1998/1999, not sure if I should get it or not.
