If we are going to use options from within i would sooner use CHO or Mount for that role.

Kenedy is a quality player.. He was playing LWB for us for facks sake, How would you judge Kanté if we stick him up top with his shocking shooting?

Whenever kenedy came on for us, he made things happen and looked great. Probably the only young player i've rated at the club the last couple of years. Top drawer player if developed correctly.

When Kenedy first came on the scene I thought we had something special on our hands. Flash I can remember you sharing the same opinion as me when we chatted about it a couple of years back.

I never understood why he didn't kick on but then again I never understood why he was shunted into LB/LWB and kept there.

And never given a run of games either tbf

He’s ok. I think some people have gone a bit overboard on his loan at Newcastle. For instance shouldn’t be enough to come straight into the starting line up. Going through the best period of his career in England rn but it’s only 8-9 games of decent form, players like Ryan Fraser and Demarai Gray, for example, have gone through similar runs, and I don’t think he’s reached the level of say Richarlison at the start of the season.

I think he does have high potential but it’s unlikely he’ll reach it if that makes sense. I don’t buy him at LWB/LB, didn’t establish himself at Watford either playing there. There’s also something unlikable about him, to me, I dunno. Certain immaturity (I know he’s young) and he seems to have been happy waiting around, being a reserve player for years, getting paid a good wage in London with his boys while playing out of position instead of maybe pushing for a loan/more chances/something. Dunno just my impression, if a bit harsh

Tldr: don’t mind what we do with him, he could be a squad player for us but there’s also a good argument to keep him on loan for another 12 months. Even selling him, as long as he had a buy back clause, would be better than casting away with nothing.

As for kenedy I always rated him at chelsea. Haven't seen much of him at newcastle.
