I completely agree

You deserved nothing more than a horsing

I said it a while back. You cannot afford to get this managerial appointment wrong. We will shortly have 7IAR. 3 years is a long time and anything can happen but we all know the Celtic fans are looking at 10IAR despite many saying it's a bit away.

IMO Pedro lost you at least a year. This summer you will be in the same position as you were last summer - new manager looking to build their own team. Hopefully again it will be looking at a treble winning side as the target.

Now we all know it is possible to come in and win the league with an average side but it is a long shot. You need a manager that come sin, settles the team and build with a view to realistically challenging us to stop 9 and if that is close you will be stronger if we have a chance at 10.

Mess it up this year and next summer you may be in the same position but seeing us have a chance at 9 and not far from 10

Just my opinion of course

It’s the hope that kills you.

A few weeks ago, it was about a probable title challenge. Now? The depths of hell.

Spot on Stevie. We just weren’t at it at all yesterday. Looked like players who know Murty won’t be Manager next season

Fully agree with Stevie in every aspect except that the idea of getting in the “right manager” now is farcical.

That ship has sailed long ago. Who on hell’s earth would want it now after the recent three years. The club has gone backwards.

Can't blame the board for individual results, but pressure is building on them to make an appointment and a very good one before long.

Credit to Murty for taking the heat off them for as long as he did and steadying the ship as it were. His inexperience in managing the aftermath of the last old firm game has ultimately cost him the job long term and ruined the relationship he has with the players.

I think everyone knew long before yesterday Murty wasn't getting the gig so should be an interesting few weeks now in seeing what happens.

Whilst you battle for second place with better winning money and at least one less round in European qualifiers?

Some task that.

The problem with everyone laying the blame at Kurtis door is it will be the same spineless uninterested and mentally weak players.

As you will see

I’d argue the players lost him it tbh . Spineless and mentally weak players .

Only McCrorie and Docherty showed any pride and effort. The others were a disgrace-

And both were rubbish.

“Yeah they did, but the same players had him in the frame for it as well when they won 5 or 6 games on the bounce. It is the same players who went to Parkhead and gave him everything for a draw and the same ones who just a few weeks ago gave him everything in going toe to toe for an hour at Ibrox.

The difference between that and what they gave him yesterday was unbelievable.”

I think that’s backing up the point I’m making.

There’s only so much a manager can do, ultimately it’s the players that win/lose the games.

Coop- just shows you, I thought they were two of our very worst performers behind Halliday. Docherty gives the ball away more than any gers player I can remembered and he’s got a touch like a horse

Don’t know how you can blame the board for that

If they were on the pitch they would have probably put more effort in than the players did
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Because the board have led the manager merry go round and given them the go ahead to bring in those players is why.

Three times now. With another one any time soon.

The Board didn't have the players standing off....Murty did. Celtic are a good side but their weakness is in defence, their strength is in going forward. Murty's tactics meant they were allowed to play to their strength whist we didn't press on their weakness. Facken daft.
As to Docherty...the kid was the only one in midfield who moved around , trying to press and challenge....hard on his own !

Smid I get that ultimately manager carries the can and no complaints.

I just don’t share the same confidence that players are suddenly gonna be better. Long term anyway

Murty didn’t have them standing off either according to him tho

I think the players have a mental weakness and stand off themselves , they fear Celtic and give them far too much respect .

On Docherty, perhaps he is trying to do too much but I’ve been far from impressed by him at gers. Tho thought he looked good at accies. There’s diff positions for a reason not in a team and it doesn’t help going all over park trying to do everything, quite the opposite in fact

Don't understand how any bear can defend the board now. Yet saw a few doing it last night.

They are exploiting the fans.

The whole Morelos to China thing was a massive lie.....simple as that. The chief apologist, Derek Johnstone, was on Clyde last night saying that it had been 'proved to be true'

The rangers fans have boycotted for less than this. You need to force them out....'three bears' and all. Shysters.

And again the board allowed their manager to choose players who stood off and don’t have the fortitude and mentality to remotely challenge this Celtic side even though the believe they know their perceived weaknesses.

In any event I’m also with IE. I think you build your players up to be better than they are. They just aren’t very good I’m afraid. Not sure a new manager would make them much better at all.
