Time to go samu

I'm not sure. He's massively off form and his attitude was poor today.

But I think a good coach gets more out of him. TC had him playing very well. Since Heckingbottom has come in; he hasn't got anywhere near that standard. In fact, only good game was coming off the bench in the first game he was available for against Derby and he changed that game.

He's a match winner and we dont have many at the moment. Current formation isn't working for anyone and lack of pace anywhere makes it hard for our attacking midfielders. With Pablo most likely leaving, I think Saiz should be kept on and managed better.

Saiz would not get in a Warnock side. Warnock failed at Leeds but can’t deny that the guy is a genius. Can you imagine samu playing under Warnock...... wouldn’t last 5 minutes. Warnock sold Clayton after he ducked out of an header. Samu ducks out of 10 challenges a game.

Samu wouldn’t get in a Millwall side, a Preston side, a blades side - all teams whose first priority is hard work.

We have a limited budget moving forwards. We need to find the right type of players who can get out of this league like Cardiff may. Samu simply doesn’t fit.

Samu is a player who on his day is very good. However I actually believe he is halfway hampered by the players around him. Put him in that league one team and he thrives.

The best trams in this division have technical ability as a primary focus. He has that ability.

There a reason why he’s had a zillion clubs in about 8 years.

He wouldn't get in Cardiff's team but they're different class this year. I think he'd get in the others you listed.

I don't think it's a case of him not working hard. I've never watched him and thought he wasn't working hard. Just needs to release the ball more and trust his team mates more. That can be coached

Works hard when we have the ball but defensively offers nothing. He doesn’t chase down defenders or goalkeepers. When he loses the ball he flaps his hands in the air and stands still instead of getting back goal side. Can’t remember the last tackle he made in a game.

I would stick him in a room Monday morning and make him watch the match video and learn from Roofe who was the first line of defence and me might actually realise exactly why he was taken off.

There are a lot of players who should be out of the door ahead of him. Only his first season in English football and will thrive with better players around him IMO

Yeah don't like that side of him, Kebab.

But he runs past players like they're not there and creates chances. Think of the Grot chance against Fulham or Roofe against Forest earlier in the season, Alioski's against Wednesday at 0-0. He's a match winner and if we had more quality around him, he could thrive.

Form like everyone else has fell flat. His petulance is a good thing. The lad CLEARLY knows he's capable of better and wants to do well, his frustration is encouraging. He could quite easily not give a hoot and go about games laughing and not interested. It's his first season and overall he's gone from being a 9/10 signing to a 7. I'm not fickle and refuse to jump on the anti samu bandwagon. That good player is there somewhere.

So want Samu to be a star but there's been far too many poor performances since the spitting incident, I have made my views known and be pilloried by some on here.
Seldom passes it, poor decision making, dribbles when there are opportunities to shoot and looses it frequently, shoots when the shot isn't on and others are in a better position.
I think some of it is the other players in the team not good enough and maybe he needs better coaching.
I also think the spitting incident is part of the problem for most fans because he was out for so long he became the stuff of legends when his performances were occasionally good.
I think the player we have truly missed this season is Luke Ayling.
For me Samu can go. Over hyped.

He’s one of the only game changers we have, need to
Keep.

Never seen a player who has got such ability, to constantly make the wrong choice of when to pass or to keep it

A lot of fluff

Rolling your foot over the ball, doesn’t cut it for me

We paid £3m for him

Be lucky to get half back at the moment

posted on 21/4/18

Sure he's off form, but so is everyone else.

He's our second best player behind Pablo, not even up for debate.

So yeah, let's get rid and replace him with some halfwit from Barnsley

Saiz I've been disappointed with since the spitting incident.

Before then I thought he was one of our greatest threats in terms of chance creation.

Not writing him off due to the current manager being crap.

When Ayling wasn't in the team, that was the turning-point of our season. He gave us something in attack that we don't have now. People don't give Ayling enough credit.

Yes he can be infuriating but he’s a game changer and can play a bit.

To be honest I’d have taken Pablo off before him today as he was dire. Kept running down blocked alleys and giving the ball away with poor passing. Second half he was terrible.

Ayling was rubbish when he played this season....and I like him, but he was

posted on 21/4/18

When has Ayling been "dire"? I've been watchng Leeds all season and for many seasons, as a season-ticket holder and fair enough, he was well short of the form we saw last season in the spell before he got injured but "dire"? No.

As opposed to a quarter wit from Espana.

He needs sorting big time. Vastly overated and off form currently. Personally I would get rid of the petulant fooker.

Ayling was off his game but then again many have been this season.

Never dire though and never hid!

I wouldn’t get rid, he’s the type of player we should be building round and if Pablo goes to Brum we will need someone who can create.

I would keep him.

With better players around him I reckon he would be very good.

I think he just needs the riot order reading to him.

Yes he’s a petulant little prat and not playing to the whistle at one point yesterday almost cost a goal against.

I’d still keep him though - after giving him a fre home truths abut it not being all about him.
