Very true. And in some respects it makes dealing with the pain of seeing Salah tearing it up a little bit easier, because NO-ONE saw this player lurking underneath the pace pony he was for us. How can we begrudge the club for failing to see what none of us saw?

KDB is slightly different. I personally saw little difference between him & Oscar and completely trusted Mourinho's judgement at the time, but there's no denying there was talent that we'd seen prior to selling him - at Werder Bremen & in glimpses for us in pre-season. Not the case with Salah what so ever.

The pre season out the Far East, he looked our best player and I was really excited about seeing him blended into the 1st team, then he picked up that injury as subsequently sold.

Salah is different - but for me it was the case that we once again paid substantial money for a player and moved him on without giving them a chance to prove themselves - typical Mourinho!

I was at the game when he scored against us, he did look useful but he's the type of player that Mourinho stifles!

We have another chance at KDB, his names Mason Mount!!!

I don't see Mount getting a look in with the 1st team, although having said that Kyle Scott has been on the fringes and Mount is a better player!

He should be first on the list, even ahead of CHO.

Scott will end up in the lower leagues i think.

I was never happy that Salah didn't get a proper chance with us or a run of games. But I'll include most players that happens to at Chelsea as we seem to be good at that sadly.

Salah had shown with Basel in the CL that were signs of a really exciting player there. Before he came to Chelsea.

As for KDB I was singing his praises before he came to the club, quite certain I did an article about him before most knew who he was.

When KDB got his first PL game under Jose and was awarded MOM I was certain that it was the beginning of great things for him at Chelsea. Sadly Mourinho demoted him to the U21's and we never knew why and just had to suck it up.

Everyone knew of De Bruyne's quality. It was a complete feck up.

With Salah there should have been a buy back clause
