When we were beaten by Real Madrid in the semis a couple of years ago our fans were brutally beaten by the police.
I was there, it was horrific and many fans were lucky not to be killed or seriously injured.
There were threads on here and all over social media in general yet I never heard anyone saying it was the reason why City lost the game.
When you play Liverpool though it seems the rules are different. Any criticism of their fans, or the Merseysnide Police is totally irrelevent - Nothing untoward happened before the game - The media are liars - We are the victims again here - You lost so that means everything you say is wrong and everything we say is right.

Liverpool are clearly 'running to UEFA' about concerns for the safety of their fans - specifically about violent assaults.
To link this to things being thrown at the City players coach and somehow imply it's justified or deserved is outrageous.
