Hate to sound defeatist, but think that's tie over. Can't see us coming back from that. Huge opportunity spurned. So gutted.

They won’t hire Simeone if they want attacking football.
Equally, why would Simeone leave Atletico for Arsenal? Chelsea I can see happening, but not Arsenal.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The salary he gets at Atletico is peanuts compared to what we pay our departing manager.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That can be said of a lot of managers. But let’s not pretend that Simeone isn’t paid handsomely already to manage a better team in a magnificent city.
I don’t think he’d take a backwards step and risk the poisoned chalice that could be the Arsenal job.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If he see the project and likes challenges, Arsenal is perfect club no manager can ignore the attraction of coaching one of the best team in Europe with state of the art facilities and a Roman style architect of a Stadium our colloseum.

Don’t forget the almighty draw of being able to manage the likes of Iwobi, welbeck mustafi and Xhaka.

Man Utd have been poor defensively in a lot of games but got away with it does that mean we are great having 1 from the best defence in the league? Great defending is when teams create no real chances against you not 20+.
They are not a great defensive side but a lucky side like us this season. They probably not in the top 20 sides in restricting the opposition. In fact they are a side who rarely have more shots than the opposition.
Eibar a team 12th in La Liga attempted 81 shots more than Atlético Madrid and allowed 118 shots less than Atlético Madrid. I know you can talk about chance quality etc but they rely on the opposition to miss easy chances a lot of the time due to intimidating keeper.
Expect Arsenal to completely dominate again away to them and have a lot of shots. Atlético Madrid had some great games now and again but a lot of the time they are very negative side which with the players they have is very strange.
