Zendaya was annoying throughout

Flash Thompson was a nerd bully...WTF?

Never understood the love for Childish Gambino

The Dad having the talk with spiderman seemed just like the Willem Defoe scene in the 2002 Spiderman

Iron Man getting involved and saving Spiderman, emasculating him at all times

Now the suit is a modified Iron Man suit.

The boy does a decent job, but nothing special

plus all stark had to say was ive told the authorities instead he doesnt and peter thinks hes not doing anything about it so does it himself, then stark has the cheek to have a go at him when it could have been avoided if he told him

Maybe I am.

It's just that every 2 years there seems to be a new film about Spiderman and this one is always the real, authentic spiderman from the comics apparently.

But I seriously doubt if he was Iron Man's pet in the comics. If I'm wrong, I apologise.

thats not even the nitpicking, was something that stood right out when i watched it, instant facepalm

Superheroes always do dumb chit and then look surprised af when logic prevails.

I don’t mind so much the dumb stuff

I don’t like a superhero being emasculated in his own movie, especially the most famous superhero in Marvel history.

Secondly, the casting was terrible in my opinion, a lot of the side characters were annoying and not likeable. Attempting to appeal to every demographic won’t make up for it.

Finally (and this is not only in Spider-Man), there didn’t seem to be any need for a secret identity anymore. Anyone that even begins to matter already knows the identity by the end of the movie. It’s getting beyond ridiculous.

Going to watch Shazam on Wednesday. Not sure what to expect with it really but the trailer kind of annoyed me.

Is Spiderverse as good as hyped?

its getting great reviews, remember its a kid in an adults body

It's brilliant. Movie of the year candidate.

Just don't expect a dark gritty type movie.

Into the Spiderverse...not Shazam. I haven't watched Shazam.

Yeah Shazam! reviews are looking good so far, so it's upped my interest in it. Plenty saying it's DC's best and most complete movie yet.

Yeah but Black Panther got world class reviews...I wouldn't trust them.
