Yes, agreed
I have to say I did like some of the origin stories (like the first scene in the first Thor movie). But I've always had a soft spot for origin movies.
Yeah you can say the same for me too, which is why I hated Transformers: The Last Knight.
They introduce The Quintessons/Quintessa and not dig deeper into the origins of the Transformers

Agreed (although I'd remove Doctor Strange from the list). I enjoyed some of the others but not to the point that I'll watch them again in years to come.

Civil war was rubbish, the rest maybe. Gog for sure.
I liked Doctor Strange...very trippy and very different from what we're used to from Marvel.
It's a standout movie imo.
With comic book movies where the story is already well known, you have find interesting ways to tell that story.
I keep telling myself I need to smoke some ganj and rewatch that movie high
I didn't really take to Doctor Strange. It seemed like the character was just a slightly more obnoxious version of Tony Stark

Yes, I liked the first Transformers movie (although I think it could've been a lot better)
The other Transformers movies I've seen, but I don't think I'll ever watch them again. I found them all terrible.

Both were awful. The first captain America was ok, the rest forgettable. Great news Gunn is back for gog3.
Transformers has so much potential imo...like the X-Men.
I still get the feeling that people haven't fully grasped just how big the MCU is now that X-Men is under them. The potential crossovers are insane.
It's like Infinity War x 1000
I think the novelty of having so many characters on screen was what made Civil War so memorable. I enjoyed it but I do wonder if I'll enjoy it as much in a few years time now that we've had Infinity War and soon Endgame.
X-Men has potential yes, but there have been too many films already that I think people will get sick of it if they reboot it now and they can't continue because the timeline is a joke.
Plus, a reboot will mean a new Wolverine that I have a feeling will get a massive backlash since Jackman was so popular.
What I've always had a problem with X-Men has been when they needed a team movie, they seem to focus on 1 or 2 individuals (basically Wolverine and the flavour of the month). Then when they make individual movies, they focus on all sorts of mutants (like in Wolverine: Origins they put so many mutants in).
SPOILER: Logan was better as it focused on him, but if it's the same timeline, it seems to make all their efforts in previous movies redundant.
I would imagine Disney would want to disregard the existing 'timeline' because it's such a mess, and start again with the X-Men.
The X-Men films in recent years - barring Logan - have failed to deliver because they've focused too much on the big massive earth threatening battles when in fact people are more interested in the characters and the personal 'journey's' they go through. They just feel a bit dated.
hope they dont get chucked into the exact same formula
Hope they put them on the scrap heap tbh
thanos wouldnt be much trouble with his metal glove if magneto was around
