Are there any movies I need to watch before watching Suicide Squad? Never watched any DC stuff

I think you'd be ok, the general idea of it is pretty straightforward. Possibly worth watching the 2016 Suicide Squad as a few characters return from that, just know that this one is better than the 2016 one.

Absolutely and it's a good film to return to the cinema for

Just got back from watching The Suicide Squad.

If you want a team up anti hero movie with plenty of action,gore,comedy,an absurd story and some surprising heart, this movie will not disappoint. I found myself smiling throughout this movie,purely because of the ridiculous nature of it's story and characters. King Shark and John Cena were probably my favourites but I actually didn't even mind Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn. Overall a great popcorn flick and one that you can watch, without having to worry about how it ties with the larger universe.

Just got back from watching The Suicide Squad.

Initially she was the only thing that kept the movie relevant. I guess I'll give it a shot this weekend.

Suicide squad was okay, decent film that had its moments but not amazing imo.
