I was going to watch Morbius but someone spoiled the ending so I stormed out.

Oh wait that was Stringer and Bond...

Insert you seem very against any kind of criticism of the film?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I've criticised it plenty, it's just that certain criticism makes absolutely no sense, and is coming across more like the posters are pushing back against some non existent woke/feminist agenda

Like complaining the women fared better than the men against Wanda.. none of the men attacked as a pair, and one of the pair of women is in the top 3 most powerful heroes..

Or complaining it was re-treading the storyline of Wanda vision, when it was a direct sequel to it, it didn't "re-tread" anything...

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't really care about the genders of the characters, just the power levels of the characters as I know them

I think it just didn't make much sense cos of the way they filmed it and who they had available, rather than any intention to give the women a moment or anything
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But they aren't characters you know.. that's the point, both of the multiverse, where the characters will have had different experiences, but also this is Captain Carter, NOT Steve Rogers, It's not Carol Dancers, It's Maria Rambeau (a gripe here that she should have been gender flipped to a male, to show the original Captain Marvel, but that would have required a new cast member)

Different people, different motivations, different experiences, no Thanos, no Ultron, no Civil War.

Not only is that the point, but it's also clearly going to be a massive issue for the MCU going forward, dunno how they will deal with it tbh.. are we going to have complaints about the power levels of female Thor? Is she going to be more/less powerful? If she's more powerful it's not going to stack up well with Hemsworths Thor already reduced to a Himbo joke..

We had complaints about the Sylvie Vs Loki... Even when we had already seen many different lokis of different appearances and power levels, I just don't know if casual (or even hardcore) fans are ever going to fully get round and accept this point, especially with their favourite heroes..

I think then the very least it deserves is a fine for false advertising then.

I wanted Dr Strange 2 - exploring the character of Dr Strange.

Not Wandavision the Movie.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I feel it advances stranges story, and it addresses several different versions of strange, problem is he's half the story, and Wanda is the other half, but if you aren't happy to accept ensemble films I don't think the MCU will work well for you going forward, it's ever expanding, established heroes will always have the help of their friends, it wouldn't make sense for them not to..

+ Clearly the multiverse is going to be a huge issue, and cause multiple people to dislike each film it's utilised in.. hopefully it dies down as a plot point, and we just see an X-Men universe spin up, with which limited travel can be achieved because there's completely different people in each world

This is my main issue that I’ve said from beginning. It wasn’t Dr Strange Multiverse of Madness at all. It was Scarlet Witch Multiverse of Sadness. The trailers gave a completely different idea of what the movie ended up being about.

It wasn’t a bad movie, it just wasn’t what it was advertised to be. Put it this way, I wasn’t disappointed after watching Black Widow or the Eternals because I knew what I was signing up for when I watched them. But it doesn’t make either of them better movies than Multiverse of Madness (although tbh I think the Eternals was better).

I watched it with 0 expectations. I didn't expect to be blown away.
I like vampires, although they should've rated it an R for more gore, it was ok. Jared Leto was decent, Matt Smith was a bit cringey.
It almost reminded me of the game Prototype, with how the effects were, how he was gliding through the air, absorbing people of their blood, etc.

I was picturing a fight between Blade and Morbius thinking Morbius would smash.
That teleport sort of ability he has was cool.

What didn't you like about it Stringer? Did you expect the greatest movie ever made?

So Greg, i'm coming from as a Spider-Man fan. I don't like these spin-off movies. None of them. Makes no sense without Spider-man for one.
But all this anti-hero stuff, getting on my nerves. But the execution of this film, Cheap. Edited poorly. Story is not engaging.
This is a PG-13 film. How? There's no blood.
Is it cos Matt Smith gets his Abs out and gives us a Magic Mike routine?!
In '22, i'm expecting a fairly good standard of entertainment, not laughing at the film. You can't be phoning it in, like a 90's film. It's an insult.

Now if you're being serious, and did find enjoyment, then all the power to you. But we are on the opposite sides of the spectrum on this.
btw Whats your rating for it?

The 90s was a brilliant decade for movies.

You know what I mean. This is a by the numbers, tick boxes type of movie. The treatment of this film feels like how they treated comic book films back in the day.

Tank Girl. The Phantom. Barb Wire. Steel. That standard.
