I think the first movie is clearly the best but I thought Dead Mans Chest was a great sequel.

I thought DMC was entertaining enough, but the ones after it have dropped in quality every time. I nearly walked out of the last one.

The last movie done $794 million at the box office, so clearly the franchise still holds some attraction.

I think I still actually prefer the first Dr. Strange movie as well. That mirror dimension is just so trippy and it was perfectly done

Yup it's a much better movie in every department. One of the most underrated MCU movies in my opinion. Strange 2 was just very silly and when the dust settles I think fans will learn to put it where it belongs, ie among the worst five MCU movies made so far.

Watched Dr Strange 2 and was very disappointed. The second half of the movie descended into utter nonsense. Not a patch on the the first Dr Strange movie and this one seemed far more infantile as well in many parts.

I'd actually compare Multiverse of Madness to Morbius in that they're both vaguely entertaining but utterly brainless rubbish. I think many people have let Strange 2 off the hook purely because it's MCU. Really makes me question where the MCU is heading.
