Just got back. What a game that was. Sat in with the Bolton fans in the Lofthouse Lower. The atmosphere was superb. My lad had his fingers in his ears at the end!
Brilliant comeback by Bolton. Well deserved and I couldn’t see it coming at all. Forest stopped playing and Bolton found something out of nothing. Wilbraham had barely done a thing right all game then produced that finish. Brereton should have had Forest out of sight in the first half. ALF made a big difference for Bolton. Really lifted the team and the crowd.

Looking forward to more trips to Middleton. Well done. 👍🏼

Have to say Kapino didn’t appear at all comfortable on that second half and should have done better with all of the goals. He was nowhere.

I told you guys to keep the faith in Bolton in previous match thread and you guys stayed up.

Kapino doesn't seem tbh the answer. Probably never played in that environment though.

I usually hate end of season, especially so as we have nothing to with the POs. However, I'm just glad it's done now.

England's group exit will no doubt make me laugh, but other than that I'm a bit bored with the mediocrity, so it's a welcome reprieve.

No more Saturday night / Sunday morning wake-ups for a good three months sounds blissful. That, coupled with a ten day sinus infection has knocked my head for six.

A ten day headache. Ouch.

Get well soon. I’m looking forward to some T20 cricket down at Trent Bridge.

Right that's it all over and done with.
What date does the squad list have to be submitted by? We have a lot of changes to get through what are the odds on any new faces costing more than nothing.
I'm off down the Polo club for the summer season to relax and check out the totty.

Kapino can pack his bags for me. How many open goals did B.B miss?

My choice of manager Chris Coleman for next season.
Anyone else with any ideas ?.

Hi, pasty, not long been back from Coniston where we spent four glorious days.

I was out all day yesterday so relied on the mobile to keep up with what was happening at the Macon. That really was the great escape. I really found it hard to believe the final score but I can tell you it contributed to my weekend.

I haven't had time to view the young ladies offering yet and will wait until tomorrow morning before viewing it.

well done to the guys who found inner strength and belief when it was most needed.

Does it mean that we are stuck with PP for at least the beginning of next season? Would it be the cheapest option for Ken? Probably not in the long run. Will Ken get the £30 million that he would like? probably not. I suppose we will just have to wait for the answers to those conundrums.

Please not Coleman he's worse than parky We'd need to sign bale for it to work.

Think some of you are quite hard on your manager. He got you out of League One and kept you up against all odds with a thrown together squad. Managing during a transfer embargo is torturous for managers. Reminds me of the stick Freedman got at Forest in similar circumstances. He managed to get a team together despite relying on bargain basement talent and deserved more respect then he got in the end.

There isn’t going to be a sudden influx of money into Bolton so there isn’t going to be much to entice a manager to come and take over.

Having witnessed the spirit amongst the fans at the game and the way the team responded to them, I would say Parkinson deserves to have another go next season.

Who's got the list of players who came in and didn't get a game or featured once never to be seen again I can remember us having another Taylor and a Charsley.
Have the missing players been kept hidden in secret for the second season in the Championship in a cunning attack minded plan to go for promotion.

Ken won't sack parky. Only if new owners come in will that happen. Can't see investment and Ken staying in charge. If I had £30m to invest then I would want to own 100% of the business.

With a couple of inspired signings, Bolton could have a stormer next season. The margins are tight in the Championship. The club would then be a more attractive proposition for investors.

By all accounts, your U23’s were quite impressive at Forest last week in the final. Could be a few diamonds in there that could make the leap into the first team?

We have two or three very good young players. two can score goals for fun and the problem is, PP wouldn't give them a chance in the first team when we have struggled for goals all season. I understand that you need to bring the youngsters on slowly but I would say that they would have been better than what we had in the first team.

Madine had a good spell but when a reasonable offer came in for him, he was sold for around six million and not a penny of that money was inverted in a replacement. Not the manager's fault, unless of course, he didn't fight to keep him.

You may be right about the money but if Ken is to be believed, there were at least two good prospects to either buy the club or invest in it. Ken says he put the blocks on it until he knew whether or not we would stay in the division.

We will just have to wait and see what happens.

I haven't seen much mention of Tyler Walker and Zach Clough on this thread. Do you want to keep them?

posted on 8/5/18

Who are these Tyler Walker and Zach Clough there must be some sort of mistake unless they are some of our missing players we have so many its hard to keep track.

Not sure about the u23s. Ive seen Jeff king keeps getting mentioned but when he played at West ham my thoughts were he's not good enough for the first team. Connor hall has scored a lot of goals but was given a free by Sheffield united last summer and I hear no sounds of regret from that direction. Not been given a new contract yet. Must be a massive quality gap between the championship and the u23 league. Walker hasn't been involved for weeks, Clough I think only started 2 games and was left out of the squad entirely at the end. Don't think either will be coming back here. Clough looks like he has regressed since he left Bolton or was it he found his level in league one?
