Yes, I’d go with that team and those results 👍
Got a feeling both games will be a draw.
The difference between Sinclair this season and last is massive.
What do you guys think is the reason for this?
Is it desire on his behalf? is it poor form at the beginning of the season that has manifested to no confidence? Is it players have learned how to deal with him? Or is it that the Celtic team this season havent been quite as sharp as they were last year and as he is a counter attack kinda player this affects him the most?
You guys see more of him than I do, what do you think it is? seems strange to be performing consistently a very decent level last year to his form this year?
I doubt Gordon will play.
Delboy, I remember Kris Commons having a similar slump in his 2nd season. I think it is a lack of desire but also a bit of predictability too.
I'd like Sinclair to stay as I think we could see the best out of him again next year.
There needs to be a freshness about the team next season and I have always thought when Sinclair plays well, we play well.
Ghod - BR has indicated that Scott Bain will start in goal on Sunday
Thought Jozo looked fine on Wednesday night, although admittedly we saw little of Killie as an attacking force.
Really difficult to predict a starting line up for Sunday tbh - your team looks fine, but no McGregor, Rogic or Ajer, as well as Lustig and Forrest, as you say.
Think Celtic will win and the Hibs/Gers match will end in a draw

you might get it then, I can see Celtic losing a few players this summer for decent money and spending a bit of it just to keep us at arms length
there's a few reasons behind Sinclair's loss of form for me
1) He's quite predictable, but you'd still expect him to do better than he has
2) His link up play with Tierney is non existent and I'm not fully blaming him with that, I think it's down to the way Rodgers has told them to play
3) The way Rodgers has told us to play on a whole, we seem to be now turning back and playing the easy ball rather than going at defences this season
4) He's not had Dembele to link up with
5) He's drifted in field a lot (again for me it'll be a Rodgers instruction)
I basically think the way we played last season suited his game down to a tee, high press, win the ball back early and utilise our pace on the counter
this season we've seemed content in knocking the ball about the back 4 which isn't going to hurt the opposition who've sat in and made it harder for our attacking players
we should play a shadow side, we know our players play a lot of matches and there is burnout there, so when we get a chance we should rest them
Every chance we will lose Rogic, Dembele and Roberts this summer.
My only hope is we keep Rogic and sign Edouard.
Would love Roberts and Dembele to stay but I'm not confident.
Del - really difficult to say about Scotty but you are spot on. Seems to have lost his confidence and is now taking the easy option. He nearly missed that open goal that Armstrong set up for him on Sunday .

Why do you think he might have decided to do this then as on face value it seems to be less effective than the way he setup last season?
Ghod
Good analysis and agree with most of it. However - if it's down to BR's tactics, how come Forrest and McGregor have had good seasons?
Why do you think he might have decided to do this then as on face value it seems to be less effective than the way he setup last season?
I think you can over analyse football, especially when you're dominating. Obviously a lot will be to do with how the opposition set up but it just seems we're content to just do enough this season, the philosophy never changes regardless of the score or how long weve played.
honestly see in the majority of games last season we were bombarding the penalty area at almost every opportunity, we were creating chances and scoring goals, it was a joy to watch
this season it's been poor, the fans on a whole are not happy, the crowds have been dwindling again
Yeah I think if Cletic were gonna keep Rogic they would have had him signed up on a new deal by now, especially with the world cup coming up.
I remember a quote from Rodgers saying that Dembele it would most beneficial for Dembele to stay at least two seasons before moving on. I think Celtic may also take any bids that come in for any of your centre halves (other than Ajer)
However - if it's down to BR's tactics, how come Forrest and McGregor have had good seasons?
for a kick off I think it suits McGregors/Ntchams game to play like this, whereas last season suited Armstrong/Sinclair you know what I mean??
Forrest has always been good he just always chose 15-20 games a season to do it in, this season its been 30-35

You think this might be related to Rodgers training methods? I remember Commons talking about how intensive his training is and also relentless with very little "breaks" or rest. You think after a while the players might be starting to dislike it after the initial buzz of massive improvement wears off or even that now this has caught up with them a bit and the bodies are fatigued a lot more?
I have no idea Im just throwing out possibilites?
I also think Forrest was spooked by Roberts return, the drama surrounding it etc he knew he had to step it up and he has
he's also one of the older heads in the squad he has responsibility now
There's probably an element of trying to hard to improve on last year. As Ghod said that could be over coaching or trying to play the perfect possession based game domestically so we are better for it in Europe.
The problem for me is, when we go through the gears we look terrific so why put the shackles on that, it's baffling.
I'd like to think we'll be more expansive next year but time will tell.

I think that's more a probability than a possibility, it happens to Pep so I'm sure it'll happen to Rodgers, it's well known players grow tired of these extensive training sessions and pick up more injuries which we have this season. It also might be why during games we look as if we're a yard or 2 off it due to how hard they're being pushed during the week
there's also the element of not really giving a toss cause there's not much opposition
which for me is the most annoying, 55,000 at home 1 week, full end away every other week
they deserve more than just turning up when you can be bothered, this is where I think the coach needs to do more
Ghod - not convinced tbh.
I think BR would rather we play like we did in the last 2 Rangers matches every week - it's just that the players (most of them) aren't delivering the way they were last season. Agree that, either way, things need to change and improve for next season as the challenge will be stronger. That said, I am delighted that we are where we are trophy wise. Just had my ticket delivered for the Cup Final, so feeling excited for that
Griffiths will play v Aberdeen along with Bain,Henry,Roberts, Sinclair, Jozo and Armstrong....I think rest of team will be usual suspects

see I totally disagree with that, Rodgers seems to enjoy this possession based football, he's already had a few go's at the fans who were demanding we moved the ball quicker
trophy wise yes it's been magnificent, football wise it's been rubbish
