Hmm, how does a crocked Lallana make this squad, yet Wilshere was left out for fitness reasons? Also, Welbeck has been crap for Arsenal. Murray deserves to go ahead of him on this season's form.

However, great call by Southgate to feck off Hart. He's been crap for years now, and good to see Livermore isn't there either.

TAA deserves it. Lallana usually does okay for England. Really not many options at all in midfield but Shelvey deserved to go looking at some of the names going.

Other than that you cant really complain at the squad. Cant do much better, probably would have gone for Smalling over Cahill.

Really excited about RLC, hope he shines through.

Lallana isn’t in it is he? They haven’t mentioned it on SSN. Or is he just in back up list?

Looks like Dele Ali will be paaping himself now Young is on the plane!

Lallana will probably get crocked in training and Shelvey/Wilshere will be called up in his place.

Forwards: Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford, Raheem Sterling, Jamie Vardy, Danny Welbeck.

When you see it all written down like that you can see exactly why there is zero hype and expectation.

That squad is awful. 75% wouldn't have even made the squad in the days of Scholes, Gerrard, Lampard, Cole, Owen, Rio, Terry etc and that "golden" generation achieved nothing either.

We'll be out in first knock out round or the one after. I'd almost stick a month's wages on it.
