Exactly what I was thinking, publicity stunt, though I imagined it more as an incentive to get people into the museum who otherwise would probably not be visiting.
If it's Adidas' doing, then I imagine the museum will be pocketing a fair bit of wonga.
Why such a short stay?
Will they be moved to a museum in Madrid after the CL final?
Probably be placed in the pyramids.

They are to be placed in front of the pharaoh in room 61.
I will visit the British Museum when I'm in London in two weeks time and see for myself.
The British Museum. Only school kids and tourists go there anyway, who cares.
