If any other team had spent this season playing like Real Madrid have, I'd be quite confident of beating them. But by hook or by crook, Madrid always find a way to win in Europe. Hopefully we can break their streak.
The amount of space the leave the opposition to run into suits us to a t. Plus they have one weeks rest and played pretty much strongest team today we have two weeks rest with the style of play we have that’s a massive advantage for us.

Nobody knows what will happen yet.
But it's encouraging to see that Madrids defense 'looks' worse than Liverpools if you have a look at how many clear chances they gave away. Liverpool conceded through penalties, fluke (own) goals and a few personal errors. (Lovren and Karius).
The only worry are those personal errors, that were present from the start. On the other hand Lovren and Karius are capable of putting in worldclass performances.

Why do you have to jump in and be the end of a bell? Anyone with any football knowledge knows how dodgy Madrid have been at the back this season and the 4-1 Spurs win was before VVD..
The 4-2 Roma and a good few of our leaky goals indecent weeks in and around the final stages of the CL are purely down to exhaustion in a repeated squad. Our defensive record since xmas has been pretty good barr the odd individual error. Defensively we are better than Madrid we concede far fewer clear cut chances and they have been giving teams fair to much space going forward and caught out of position all season.
With it being the week up to the final and this being a football fan forum its only natural to start evaluating our opposition in the biggest final in football.

half nervous and half excited.
Nervous because it’s the European Cup final. But there’s another side to Saturday as well. A chance to have a great day, a chance to celebrate reaching the final and facing off against the likes of Ronaldo on the grandest stage.
The city is buzzing at the minute and rightly so.
I really hope we have competent officials as well. Too often are the men with the flags and whistle involved with the big moments.
If we’re beaten by some Ronaldo magic then so be it but we’ve got some magic of our own.
