Never got this Spurs obsession of not selling to United. We're not exactly hated rivals are we? You should bloody love us really because but for us you would have had 20 years of watching Arsenal and Chelsea winning everything before the Sheikh showed up.
However I'm not even sure I want him. Expensive, not exactly young, 2 bad injuries in last 2 seasons.....I think he's better off going somewhere else.

If you bought Toby it would be 4 players in that price bracket.

Spurs i feel are cornered into selling him this summer to avoid losing him for free next summer, he's probably in the top 3 CBs in the league but at nearly 30 it's not exactly one for the long term.
Would immediately improve United's starting 11 and allow them to get rid of one of the jokes of CBs they currently have.
Spurs would get imo around 50m to re-invest. If they could get De Ligt could end up with cash plus a defender who has the potential to be better than Alderweireld long term.
Both teams could do well out of this, United shorter term and Spurs longer term.

Walker was a massive mistake by the club. There is no hatred between United and Spurs, but you are currently one of our direct rivals at the top of the Prem, so would be gross negligence to sell players to you.
Would United say sell Spurs one of their best players?
Now this is one 29 year old I wouldn't mind us signing. Desperately need some calmness in amongst the bunch of hot heads we currently have in defence.
Would probably spell the end for at least one of our current CBs though. Hopefully Jones. Injured about 60% of the time, and a ticking-time bomb when he does play. He's managed to stay at this club for far too long.
