No chance at all he will fetch that kind of money unless it's to a PL club.

Barca and Madrid wouldn't be after him, certainly not for that money, and no one else in that league would be able to afford that.

Big money to a PL side, or probably £30m give or take a few to a foreign side imo.

PSG are apparently very interested and we have a good relationship with them following the deals for Stambouli, Aurier and Lucas. I can see them stumping up £40m no probs

Very good player but if it hinders our ability to bring in real quality at CM, RW, LB and RB because he won’t be cheap then it’s not worth it. Yes we can improve at CB but it isn’t a priority, there’s also the issue of his fitness/injuries.

He'd be the best CB at the club if he came, and I wouldn't fret over the price, if some Japanese sushi seller wants to put our logo on his boxes, it's virtually paid for him

I find it amusing that City fans use money as a stick to beat us with. I could understand teams Tottenham or Arsenal. But City and Chelsea are teams that have spent a shed load of money. You can talk about United spending more on 4 players than City ever did, but we're not the ones with £50m players in about half our team.

There are other sticks. Money is a poor one to choose.

75m? He's no Virgil van dijk but will do a decent job. A Bailly-Alderweireld partnership would be very strong.
