what is it with the Spurs fans? If they persuaded their owners to spend the money they tax dodge with then, if spent wisely, they could compete better. The article is about putting stronger teams in the cups, nothing else.

Look how cocky and arrogant they are getting. Everything they despised about us for years.

Can't win a trophy without a sheikh buying it for you hough.

You’re a fine one to talk. Hiring Mourinho is everything that United used to hate.

Somebody chastise the little child and put him in the corner. He does like to make noise but he has nothing to say, ever.

City fans still have that little man syndrome.

Spurs fans still have that little club syndrome.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Err, it was essentially the initial point.

Rather than just be happy with their lot, City fans are in a weird position of on one hand trying to convince others (themselves too?) that their position and entire recent success is nothing to do with financial doping, while on the other hand worrying themselves with clubs they looked up to when they were a small club 8 years ago.

Very odd

No Leddy Spurs are in the position of looking down at clubs that have achieved more than they have citing all sorts of excuses for lack of performance.
The main reason is not that City have spent money but that spurs have not spent or spent unwisely (the Bale cash) and look to blame others for the faults of their muli billionaire owners not funding the club.
The excuse of "we have history" only goes so far. Notts county have history but are not regarded as a big club. In light of Spurs failure to win anything on a regular basis what really justifies your beliefe that Spurs are a Big club. Certainly not recent history.

Past 10 years yep Achieved. You have to be in it to win it, last god knows how long Spurs have watched from the sidelines and achieved what exactly?

City are like a waster - let's call him Norris - who has been given a council flat, then won the lottery and stayed in the council flat so he can save money.

Spurs are like a fella - let's call him Bob - who had a tiny flat, and has had to save money to build his own house.

This article is like Norris giving Bob stick about not having a holiday for a few years.

Norris goes out with glamerous women and generally enjoys life.

Bob stays at home looking at old photos by candlelight.

And Bob forgets to mention his 6 off shore bank accounts he's got squirrelled away in the closet in his uncles Lewis's house.

Not the Etihad on European nights - I meant the hole where Manchester City used to be

Have you ever been to the Etihad on a European night?

I was there for Shamrock, yes.

The only European game you sold out this season was Liverpool....probably because their fans picked up the slack.

Embarrassing. Best side in your history and do not get 55k for CL games

You're embarrsing yourself with your continual BS.

BTW, the maximum capacity at the Etihad for CL games is under 53,000 but carry on perpetuating the myth.
