It's pretty embarrassing stuff now. He should have just taken it on the chin and moved on. It's very transparent what he's doing, everyone knows he wasn't concussed.

I wonder if he'd saved a penalty and Liverpool had won would he be bleating on about this

posted on 5/6/18

yeah, he'd probably saw he made the save even though he was concussed.

Karius isn't the one going on about it though. The club wanted to make sure he didn't suffer any damage and this notion that doctors are making it up is laughable.

It's not about making excuses for Karius. We should be taking it seriously to see why a potentially damaging injury wasn't picked up by the ref's and medical team.

Nope, comes across as amazingly even more incompetent and desperate. The best thing he could have done was to magic into thin air.

It's hard to the point of impossible to defend what he did when even your bog standard Sunday league keeper would have done better.

Exactly what I said elsewhere, OP!

Karius should have apologised to the fans and hold his hands up.

Anyone can mistakes and the only way to rectify errors is by first admitting to them.

He;s blaming concussion.

Kloop has been a flop with his keepers!

Both of them lack confidence and are mortified to make mistakes

Because at Liverpool, you're ALONE when you make a mistake!

Trouble is I've seen him do what he did for the third a few times.

The first was right after the knock and was a truly weird mistake.

For people saying if he was concussed why didn't he say? Well he would have been concussed.

Anyway don't know, don't particularly care much as they're not going to let us replay the game so it's moot.

even Klopp!

I hold my hand up: I cocked up the name!

Oh wait, I was concussed when typing Klopp's name

Got a certificate from a doctor from US!

I dont think his had a bleed on the brain but those doctors feel possible he had a mild concussion.

I don't think some of you know what concussion is so here you go;

That's aside of the fact that players rarely want to come off during CL finals as evidence by players from both sides literally crying when they had to.

I'm not sure why this is a big deal tbh. Except that I am.

It was the club who sent him to the Doctor get your facts right. And if a medical professional is saying he was concussed that pretty much makes sense for both goals lets actually support him if anyone should be under fire its the medical team who assessed him..

He literally held his hands up immediately after the game. Shut up.

What the episode has revealed is the staggering ignorance of football fans as to what concussion is and how it can affect you.

Football fans surely the most ignorant set of fans of any sport.

Football rivalries will traverse common sense any day.

First off the OP doesn't even know what he's on about.

Anything after that is just worst case assumptions by rival fans.

99.99 per cent of players in the European leagues will never get a sniff of playing in the final rounds of the European Cup. (It's still, for me, the European Cup, not the CL ballix). To reach the final itself is a fantastic achievement. No player - aptly demonstrated by Mo himself - would want to come off, and I suppose that Karius is no different.

But, returning to the original post, I too can't see the reason or need for the American doctors to go live. Whatever credibility Karius still possesses has been somewhat diminished in my view by the manner of the revelation.

Ramos is a thug. Fact.
He seriously took out Karius. Fact.
He took out Mo. That's my take on it,other may disagree, fair enough.
Real won, we didn't. Fact

Get on with it.
