Be more balanced towards your opinions of reveals of things other than Sony!

Far more goings on than them and if all you do is talk up Sony and no-one else then your opinions appear to become less relevant (regardless if they are or not)

I hope that Xbox can get their act together as competition breeds improvement. Sony need to be pushed to truly achieve all they can, otherwise they will get complacent.

Don't get the critical nature of this particular gaming board, it's quite odd.

Stevie G, I post about PS4 because that's what I know and own.

My opinions of MS/xbox would not be very popular, so I try to keep my thoughts my own.

This is a PS4 forum, and I just post whats happening there.

I have to admit i watched microsofts press conference as that was on around 6pm. Mainly to look at the games which are also confirmed for PS4 such as Cyberpunk 2077. That looked brilliant!

I would have thought the ps4 conference would have been the same time as microsoft. Not staying up until 2.00am!!!

Has rockstar got their own press conference?

E3 is Not really Rockstar's thing Gunner, I think the next Red Dead has some sort of marketing deal with Sony, so might see something on the Sony conference.

not being critical, just suggesting that Amiga shouldnt be so narrow minded.

I appreciate the Sony updates he gives but it is very biased as by his own account he has no interest in anyone else other than Sony therefore has no gauge in which to compare and anything at that he says will be biased by his own account.

This is a PS4 forum, There is no ambiquity, If people want to read about what is happening with the PS4, then my post's do that.

I try to focus Sony's first party games and hardware.

I think PS4 users aprieciate that.

That is not to say I am not aware of whats happening on other platforms.

I am a PS4 user always have been. I was just offering my opinion. I wasnt saying that you were right/wrong. All I was saying that if you want a bit more credibility then you should also look at what competitors are also doing as it then gives you a fairer picture of the job Sony are doing. Without checking out the competition you will never know exactly where Sony are is all.

I aint looking for an argument was just giving constructive criticism.

As I said its also hard as a reader of your posts to then believe what your saying isnt just being hyped up or very biased.

Its just my opinion thats all.

dont get me wrong Amiga you are perfectly entitled to any view you possess and as I said I am grateful for the stuff that you do share. Im fairly up to scratch with Sony so a lot of it I already kinda knwo, but you certainly make me aware of things I didnt know and also you have a different taste to myself in terms of games so good to have a different perspective in that respect.

I was only giving you my point of view in terms of what I think some people may perceive as being bias is all bud.

Cyberpunk looks amazing, think red dead will get a viewing on Sony’s show tonight (that’s the game I’m looking forward to more than any other too).

I’d rather with e3 there were more 3rd party shows and make Sony’s and Microsoft’s presentations less. It’s gone a bit daft recently.

kinda agree I also think that Xbox Sony stuck to their own exclusives like Nintendo tend to do.

I think if you leave it to the developers of the game you would get a more full idea of the game and what they are trying to achieve.

They do or even try and get in console launch exclusives or try to get the developer in their conference just to get the perceived attachment.

I’d rather go direct to the developers

The other thing I’d add are exclusives aren’t good things for gamers or most developers.

I think exclusives are good for gamers, Sony has some great first party studio's working hard to get the very best out of the PS4.

It is why we can have such great looking games like God of War, or Detroit. they are optimised for the hardware. which is probably why 90% of the games I buy are first party.

You are pretty much guaranteed quality from the Sony Studio's.

Although a game like Spiderman should probably be multiplat. But from a business perspective Sony have pulled off one hell of a coup.

Personally I don’t think that’s anywhere near enough justification (given how good multiplats look nowadays anyway) to compensate for the flipside of having to buy two consoles though.

It works for Microsoft and Sony, and a few developers, but that’s it, not the consumer.

Melton, One of the reasons I chose PS4 is Sony's first party support. Sony will always deliver the quality I want.

Third party are all well and good but don't come close to what Sony is doing.

Sony back their console, and are reaping the rewards this gen. To me that is to be commended.
