Is Matt Mcglone one of their own ?

I think that if this guy is successful then it would be daft for every stadium not to check their stairways and concourses.

Im pretty sure at ibrox there is grip material on the edge of all the stairs. Some grounds will need more work than others

One man fell and injured himself out of millions who attend the stadium, he is the problem not the arena.

Spot on. But too many out there think the responsibility lies with the wrong party.

People absolve themselves of responsibility for anything these days.

And the entitlement culture is beyond a fooking joke

They only hurt the very things they claim to love. It’s pitiful

Yeah. Lots of people slip for all sorts of reasons - but of ice on the pavement, not looking where they’re going, bad footwear, etc etc. But they do so without blaming anyone else or looking for recompense. Sch!t happens.

We are responsible for ourselves - unless there’s a glaring H&S issue which there isn’t in the vast majority of cases

Too many ambulance chasers out there looking for a fast buck. Utter vvhanks. And there’s a knock on effect for everyone else. It’s like the eejit that try to claim food poisoning on all inclusive holidays.

It’s a sad endictment of society these days. But these people exist.

Do we really want to go down the route of the US and their culture of litigation ? The only winner are lawyers and insurance companys

Can't sleep, thought this rather ironic

Cheers America for giving us this blame culture..

"make a quick buck"

The only while time I have been in America never had a cold call at my door asking if I have had an injury in the last 3 years, Britain is worse than America

If he’s proven correct this would have huge implications for every stadium.

That’s every stadium.

Meeting slip resistance standards is not an easy fear and I’d think practically every ground in the country would have a huge and very costly resurfacing project to meet the minimum standards.

Massive implications.

No each stadium would taken on its own merits, not every stadium uses non slip materials in walkways, you can't force stadium operators to use a material that is not necessary, it's all about practability.

The stairs and walkways at Ibrox for example are concrete and therefore non slip material, the concourses have a thick rubber non slip material for when it's wet, the hydro is mostly concrete , I seriously doubt if mcglone will win this , his witnesses are vital and how sober they were

McGlone, is that a actual surname

Concrete can be slip resistant as well

All it takes is a brush

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Correct it's easy to make it non slip

Pretty sure you can get non-slip paint can you not?

It is aye. This fud was trying to get ibrox shut down for being unsafe etc. His hatred of rangers is high profile. Now he’s been delivered a nice slice of karma pie and I love it. It’s delicious
