Makes sense I guess playing him against the softest team in the group. Gives everyone a run out.

To be honest we are in a win-win situation.
Plays well and he either comes back with a sky high value and we sell or stays with confidence and hopefully a team is created with quality.
Plays poor, no one wants him and we keep him.

Amazingly went through the whole game without being booked.
Man of the match for many so added at least another £5m to his value but he would be stupid to leave now
Good for Pontus, and hopefully good for LUFC in relation to his confidence, his experience, and hopefully, his goddamned maturity. He's a good centre back but much better beside Bartly and still needs to learn when to keep it shut and walk away. If Bielsa can't teach him that, maybe nobody can.
