Standard Harry Kane

Some people letting club bias cloud their judgement as you know for fine fact they’d be all over it if someone from another team missed those chances. Imbeciles
-------
You couldn't make this up

You started this by claiming Kane would have buried all those chances Lingard had

Now who's all over another teams player missing chances

No he had three big chances and he bottled all of them. One of them was just a lot easier than the other two. You are a bit thick, aren’t you?

Just face it, Lingard was shiitt.
-----
An example of club bias. Can't take an opposing view, and resorts to insults.

Or someone letting club bias judge the player to have a poor performance due to club bias.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Where have I said Lingard was poor?

Good luck finding that, diiickhead.

I was referring to Neo, whose comment you agreed with.

Well that makes no sense as he didn’t mention anything about club bias, I did. Why would you mention club bias in response to him when he didn’t mention it at all in the first place?

posted on 18/6/18

That's the problem with online conversation in such threads, Ledders. They are not like normal conversations. Ifs like multiple people talking over each other.

You mentioned bias. Neo was being biased. Hence me pointing out someone other than those who you accuse of bias being biased.

Lingard should’ve scored at least two but he’s in the positions and normally a big game player so I would definitely keep him in the team.

Sterling is a bit of a worry.

Henderson played well. Was quite pleased he’s in the team over Dier.

Trippier was my MOTM.

Young too predictable cutting in on his right but I like his tenacity and that beaut of a cross for one of the Lingard chances.

Thought Henderson was pretty poor but I agree he should be in the team.

Lingard was awful to be fair. On another day he could have had a hattrick. I'd still keep him in for the next game due to the lack of options. The only change I'd make is Rose for Young. Not so much due to a poor performance but the whole point of the system is the wing backs need to get beyond the midfield and make things happen, when you're having to cut back on your right foot, it defeats the purpose.

Agree with all of that but I'd drop young, the momentum is lost once you check back onto your right foot, put a square peg in a square hole

Don't think you can complain much about Henderson this game.

I thought Tripper offered very little going forward - as usual. Thought Young was the same. Needed people who would try and commit their opponents and stretch them rather than cut in and look for the cross or turn and pass it sideways or backwards

Trippiers corners led to 2 goals, he should be taking all the free kicks as well, he is our best dead ball specialist. His performance overall was superb, he looks miles ahead of Kimmich. How the hell does Aurier get a game.

Ashley Young stands out like a sore arris, couldn't beat an egg, cant cross, cant use his left foot, rubbish at set pieces, awful in the air, no pace, no guile, no great movement. I'd rather start with 10 men and a training cone than start with Young again

I must have watched a different game, Trippier wasn’t close to being superb. Young took the corner for the first goal anyway.

I'd use Walker as the wing back rather than Tripper and move Rose in for young. While Young can put a cross in, it's with his right foot. That's not great for a wing back.

You're on the wind up surely?

Trippier was decent, nothing special. Didn't provide those killer crosses he's known for. His one free kick was awful, no chance would I have him on free kicks. Definitely on corners. I'd have TAA on against the weaker sides as he can actually provide a threat for wing back and is the best set piece taker in the squad.

Miles ahead of Kimmich

Trippier was very good. Not really sure how anyone can think otherwise. Some of his passing from the right back area into the right/central forward line was outstanding, including the pass that sent Lingard away when he hit the post.

Would be tough on him if Walker replaces him at RWB

I would not have Trippier v the better teams.

Give him time and space and his passing is superb. Ask him to do a bit of defending though, and we will have trouble. Not quick, and vulnerbale to a ball in behind him.

Keeps his place for Panama.

Walker in for RWB for Belgium for me all day long.

Not Trippier's biggest fan but thought he was superb yesterday. And Walker at RCB helps to cover him

Trippier created 6 chances, more than any other player at the world cup thus far.

trippier and henderson were easily 2 of the best players by some distance. Did everything you could ask and were positive and prob only 2 i saw not afraid to try a pass.

Ali, Lingaard and Sterling were very poor, but inexperienced so you know that could happen.

Kane you kinda knew would get lots of shirts around him on his own, and without 2 people down the flanks to occupy defenders- he is gonna have a hard time on his own if we carry on like that.

Comical defending from Tunisia to leave him open with tap ins from 2 yards, but shows we got lucky really. We need more support for Kane or we will just have to keep praying decent defenses leave him unmarked at corners again....which they obv wont

Walker isnt the smartest, but has recovery pace to burn and got unlucky with the penalty imo

Sterling has to drop to the bench. Rashford instead

Walker experiment may just cost England at a critical time. It's difficult to go into a World Cup against the best teams playing a position you may have played 6 times! England got lucky thanks to Kane but it could have been 1 point, then what....draw with Panama and need to beat Belgium. That would have been typical England

Need to follow Kane's lead and be ruthless!
