Well world class to me says that any player who is at that level is at the very least on a similar level as any player who has ever played that position. So for a striker to be world class, there cannot be another striker in history who was clearly a level above that striker etc.

And that’s why Aguero and Lewandowski don’t qualify.

Bent and Bergkamp are two completely different types of strikers. Hazard and Salah play the exact same role and Salah just outputs far better numbers. There is no reason to say Hazard is better.

I've always hated this idea of rating players that says that one HAS to fit in one position, or they have to fit into a top 10 or whatever. You can easily have more than one world class player in several positions.

I mean Lewandowski has been doing it in Europe for longer than Kane has...remember when he scored those 4 goals against Real Madrid?

If Kane is world class then Lewandowski and Aguero should be too.
