Whereas before the were moaning for free kicks, thrown ins, yellow/red cards, penalties and whatever other decision there is in football.

The technology is rubbish. It kills the game. You now have players, coaches asking ref every second to loo at VAR.

On a plus side there's no more imaginary card waving

We've had more penalties than in the whole of the Brazil World Cup 2014 already and we're still early in MD3 in the group phase.
It's been a good world cup so far but the amount of penalties are really starting to put me off a bit now. It's like watching Rugby Union. Winning penalties seems to be the tactic.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yet you were moaning the other day about others that hadn't been given.

the 'technology' as you insist on calling it is simply called action replay television pictures. It was first used in the 1960s.
Its the refs who decide the outcome by watching the pictures again, and again.... slowly..... and not in real time, not the technology.
The problem is that most refs don't know how to interpretate the rules of the game properly.

No laughing matter, defender waited til the attacker put his hand on his then punched him.
Shocking you condone violence dave
VAR decisions need to be made by the VAR team and not by the ref.
The likelyhood of having 5 incompetent refs sitting in a room is far less likely than having one incompetent ref on the pitch.

Not a fan of VAR being used at all but I agree IF it must be used this surely would work better. The players couldn't take it out on the ref either as he wouldn't have made the final decision.

No. There have been far more cases where VAR's got it right than wrong.
