Premier League is back this week. Bit of a debate on Twitter about what should be considered the "Triple Crown" of darts.
Some say World Championship, World Matchplay and the Premier League.
Many disagree with the third choice - me included.

Grand Prix vs UK Open would be the choice for me, probably go with the latter.
In terms of enjoyment, this is how I would rank all the televised tournaments:
1 - World Championship. No brainer. The time of the year certainly adds to it as well. Just special.
2 - World Matchplay. Leg play instead of set play makes it more exciting.
3 - UK Open - The free draw adds to the excitement. Fast paced with multi-boards at once. The fact it was the one tournament that Taylor couldn't dominate also helps.
4 - Grand Slam - Round robin means players can get into it, you see different players.
5 - Grand Prix - Double in double out can add to the drama.
6 - Players Championship - Like how the draw is done on the PC order of merit, meaning it gets a somewhat fresh look.
7 - European Championship - Similar to the PC.
8 - World Cup - Pairs darts with a lot of lesser seen players.
9 - Champions League - Limited to the top 8, round robin first round. But at a time when the TV tournaments are rare, and on the BBC.
10 - The Masters - Top 16, but coming so soon after the World Championships it seems a bit unnecessary.
11 - Premier League - A marathon of pretty inconsequential matches over too many weeks. And with the challengers coming in for a pointless match makes it even lesser.
12 - World Series - Only because they aren't live often and I rarely see them.
MVG - Wright was some game last night
decent wins for Ando and Durrant as well
Price v Cross 6-6 both averaging 100
Aspinall v Henderson was awful

You are right to put the Prem so low for a few years now its felt passed its sell by date and it goes on for far too many weeks.
I wouldn't have had the Grand Prix so high as the double in can lead to alot of dull legs if both players don't get away on the same throw.
Lisa Ashtons debut was short. Out first round, 6-2 to Dolan.
Wade, Chisnall and Suljovic also out early.
Scott Mitchell was unfortunate to come up against MvG, who smashed him 6-2.
Great day for debutant Jeff Smith, but he loses in the final to Gary Anderson.
Smith best Peter Wright in the quarters and Dolan in the semi.
Ando beat Cullen and Ade Lewis.
double in double out is my favourite
Lisa wins her first round game today. 100 average
v impressive average for a bird
didn't think they were capable of 100 averages tbh
jeff smith at it again knocks out gurney
andy hamilton loses to kirk shepherd
ashton loses to labanausakas
Aspinall knocks out peter wright with a 117.5 average jesus and wright averaged 113.7
aspinall then follows up by beating clemens 7-0 with a 103.2 average
