Yeah I don' get why chelsea are not in for him for a hazard back up, or even to play in the three behind the striker with hazard and willian. Would be a good purchase and back up for salah/mane

Decent squad filler. We might not get lucky like last season where Salah, Bobby and Mane managed to remain fit.

Why don't we just sign Albrighton or Andy Carroll?

Fee won't be loads and they're capable sometimes at doing stuff.

Are you comparing Shaqiri to tose two players Robbing? And you accuse people of not knowing footy.

No I'm just looking at price. Could probably pick up Carroll for five million. No risk really is there. It's only a bit of money and every so often he does something good. Perhaps go in for onw of the Ayew brothers too.

Hes got talent, but seeing him at Stoke I worry about his attitude, so my gut instinct would be to look elsewhere, like that Moses lad from Ghent that was mentioned in the Echo a few weeks back.

Having said that, on recent signings, I don't think we could ask for a better judge of a player than Klopp.

Klopp obviously wants Shaqiri, so thats good enough for me I suppose.

Just been to the CL final and we still have a gaping would where the goalkeeper should be and we are now fiddling around with a fat dumpling of a player who as lazy as hell.

A real statement of intent. Not

Many said similar last summer when Salah was bought.

Like I said, where outfield players are concerned, Klopp's track record is proven.

His eye for Goalkeepers, is not as clear so far, granted.

Some real idiots on here. I remember the grumbling when we signed Mané too and look how that has turned out. Shaqiri at £13-£15m is a proven Premier League player who is likely to be a back up to Salah and Sadio while also filling the squad.

He also has a bit of flair about him and has known to produce moments of sheer magic both for club and country. Also got the highest number of goals and assists in a poor Stoke side last year. The "but Stoke got relegated" excuse is ridiculous as well as we signed Robertson from a relegated side last season and Gini the season before that and I don't think Klopp needs any reassurances as to what he can do with these type of players. Added to the very low price, we can't really go wrong. So I would highly recommend our fans stop moaning and back our signings.

A new keeper and possibly a centre back and we're set for the season.

In the outfield Klopp hasn't really got a signing wrong since joining us.

Too faacking right he hasn't which makes the moaning even more ridiculous!

I would assume that surely Klopp and the transfer team have bought some trust from our fans due to the number of high quality buys that have taken place over the last couple of seasons...

...its clear I have assumed wrong

We should get Ayew because he's cheap. He scored 11 goals.
