Agreed. Kane was horrific. Alli has a bang average tournament. Young was poor. Sterling was just baffling

Midfield was overran from about the 60th minute today as Alli was gassed. Should have brought on another proper cm to sit in with Henderson.

Yet no mention of stones switching off for there winner , strange , we were far to cautious time and time again
Side to side passes , lost to a tired side , very disappointed

Sterling was good until Southgate became an idiot, which tends to happen around the 45 minute mark

Simply cannot have both Alli and Lingard in a midfield 3 for 90 minutes. Dier was the right substitution to bring on but absolute suicide to take Henderson off.

Henderson had ran out of legs. Should have started with Dier and been solid.

No fault of Henderson, just the wrong choice/selection/subs

Stones was solid but he'll be remembered for one lapse of concentration.

Southgate made a huge blunder in midfield. Henderson was up against two world class midfielders and was being overrun and he brings on Rashford.

Not going to play this partisan blame game. However, against a Croatia side who should be more knackered than us: for them to have 7 shots on target to our 2 speaks volumes.

I hope Kane got paid a fortune for wearing deep sea divers boots for the last 2 games for England

Kane has been poor in the last couple of games.
Thought Alli was OK but not at his best.

Dier came on, had a blocked shot, 1 forward pass, 12 backwards passes, and 1 sideways pass.😆

Trippier was pretty poor beyond his goal.

Just not meant to be. Pointing at individual performances is futile, reality is the team as a whole fell short today.

Players we have just aren't of the quality of the best teams. For the first time in a while though the players can hold their heads high, they performed at a level close to the highest they are able to produce,

Henderson was dreadful, I swear it's only English people who rate this guy. Constantly hoofing the ball upfield, he has no refinement in his game whatsoever
