Kane was awful tonite seemed off the pace, up to the semi he was having a good tournament penalty wise

The only guy he can beat is the keeper.

Totally over rated.

Kane has had a average tournament. His set plays goals have overshadowed the overall impact he has had from open play. His passing and shooting has been really poor.

SG could have taken any of Henderson/Lingard/Alli off. All 3 weren't involved enough in the game.

Sterling was the only player that Croatia really struggled against. But he is one clumsy fecker.

I Think Neville is right. We going to hear soon Kane is carrying an injury.

Hasn't taken long for England fans to turn on their own and scapegoat players of rival clubs.

I don't think England will ever win anything until they sort out their domestic league. Nearly 70% of the Premier League players are foreigners. This is miles ahead of all the other "top" nations. This is further compounded by the fact that England export little or none of their players to other top leagues.

This sad fact is in stark contrast to the other top nations who have players plying their trade at top clubs all over Europe. Their domestic leagues also have 50% or more players of their own nationality.

I was amazed to read statements recently such as "we have better players than Croatia" or "we should be brushing aside countries such as Colombia."

There is no evidence that this is the case and it won't change until something is done about the over abundance of foreign players in the Premier League.

What a beach

Some of the more vocal Tottenham fans here before today were giving all the credit to players of their own team why criticising players of other teams (Henderson, Sterling and Lingard come to mind). It is natural for these other fans to give the same stick back.
