The word around the campfire is that he's off to Derby for the next season, Lampard beating StevieG for his services.
If so, for me that's disappointing. The only good news on the horizon is the The Boss hasn't said so, indeed he's said he won't make a decision on anyone until the very end of pre-season. This could well be press talk, which I hope it is.
My own view is the Harry is more than ready for at least the squad. I accept that he's got serious competition, especially with the new signings, and, I suspect, more signings to come. He is a very good player indeed.

Nope, I just think Klopp is clear on the players he wants. He would rather sign Shaquiri that give Wilson a chance.
Apart from TAA there’s not a lot to shout about from the youth team. Realistic really that’s all. At least be correct if you are going to go head long into a stupid comment.
Klopp clearly rates him highly, but if he thinks a season at a good team in the Championship would be beneficial for him then who are we to argue.

Harry Wilson probably isn’t good enough and more so if he was to come on in place of Mane or Salah and not set the world alight, idiots would be banging on about how the club haven’t signed good enough players to back up the team.
It’s a catch 22 situation.
Right now Shaqiri is 5 times the player, has much more experience and much more confidence and was a no brainier at the price.
Ojo & Jones played very well yesterday & Camacho played very well in the previous games in the week, we’ve also got one of the best young strikers in the Brewster.
But yer, none of them are good enough.

Klopp’s giving a decent youth prospect time to develop in a competitive league. You know get some minutes under his belt to see how he gets on.

I did want Wilson to stay this season but now we've signed Shaqiri, it probably is better for him to have a season of first team football.
He just signed a 5 year deal so you'd think he's somewhat in Klopp's future plans.

Wilson is 21 and should have done more at his age to establish himself, if he wants to prove himself he can do it on loan.
The trouble lies in the lack of games with these young players. Brewster and Woodburn will need games or loans to make the growth necessary this season.

ARE may be a miserable caaant but he is right on this one. Everyone over-rates their youngsters massively. No-one remember the hype on here about Ibe and he was going to be better than Sterling. The reality is he is a back up at Bournemouth.

IMO this is dissappointing again and IMO if the lads not ready now six month (say til jan) isn't going to improve him playing for derby.
If its for a full year then we can come to a big conclusion on klopps thoughts about wilson.
Quite over the top to be honest. He's a highly rated player that needs to play 30-35 games at his age for him to be progress further. He's not going to improve playing 10-15 games for us. He needs to join a team where he'll play week in week out. Derby is a good move. I'd prefer him joining a Prem team but I doubt they can guarantee him 35-40 games.
