I think there's an overwhelming feeling that City will retain from most rival clubs. The gap was huge and to close that in one season, given they still look incredibly strong and now have Mahrez too, looks unlikely.
Liverpool can't win the title with either of the keepers. Just can't. No team has ever won a PL title with keepers as poor. If you add a world class keeper then I'd say you might go ahead of the chasing pack in being their biggest threat but without one I just cant see it being much different to last year. Karius is going to get so much stick from fans he's going to have be incredibly mentally tough to get over Kiev.
1. City
2-6 Anyone's guess.
OP
Didn`t Liverpool roll over and lose 5-0 to City last season. So you took 3 points of City, Spurs took 4 points of City the previous season.

How many points did you take off them last season?
And how many goals did you concede against them.
Complete utter fackwit.

I can see Liverpool taking 4 PTS of City next season and still finishing behind them.
City don't like playing Liverpool. Liverpool don't like playing United. United don't like playing City.
Quite funny how football goes sometimes.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
City will not dominate like they did last season
Liverpool were by far the best side City faced in 2017/18.
United not so much, despite their win at the Etihad.
City should win the League but you just never know!
Liverpool offer the biggest threat for me but that is just a gut feeling.

City are quality and strong favorites again. They can be got at though. The likes of Kompany, Aguero, Fernandinho and Silva are all another year older so you just don’t know.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So the rest of City's squad have stayed the same age ? How does that work ?

As good as City are you have to wonder how much of it is the fear factor when teams come up against them. If you press and attack them, like we did, they can be undone.
Let’s hope the others go at them this season and the league challenge is closer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Keep telling yourself that.
You forgot that if there was VAR, Liverpool would not have beaten City in the CL.
Also, it's amazing how Liverpool have managed to wipe out the 5 nil loss at the Etihad from history.
But we will see. Next season is almost upon us.

If there was VAR....we might not have won 5-1?
Mate if there was VAR we’d have a few premier league titles and Ramos would have been sent off in the CL final this year.
If there was VAR....ffs! Hahaha

Isn't it all just a question of development as a team that's the issue? Us, City, Spurs and, to a degree United are, as always headed down the 'development' road, nothing new there, it's to be expected.
It's the identification, recruitment and trainings, coaching when the manager earns his corn. Again, nothing new. We've got three new players, different styles, positions, backfgrounds, experiences of the PL and will take time to bed in. Both Spurs and City are ahead of us on that score, so I don't expect miracles.
Miracles? Well, not really. The tanking that was dished out to City at Anfield in January was one of the best games seen, the greatest of atmospheres.
Can it happen again?
Sit down, strap yersel' in and watch Jurgen and the boys go for it.
