Aren't a lot of Arsenal fans against Ivan Gazidis anyway? All I usually hear is how he's doing an absolute chit job and is not worthy of the role.

On the face of it he seems very replaceable as for most of his time here he was pretty hopeless. An American who knew little about football and was very underwhelming in the commercial side too.

That said, if he was actually behind all the recent changes then he'll be missed as this last season we've really got stuck into sorting out the staff.

We don't really know whether that was him finally being given more authority or what happened but it will be interesting to see who comes in next.

Wenger to replace him.

It seems legit. A bit strange of a situation as he has now full control of the club and after sepnding so many years overshadowed by Wenger, you'd think he'd be happy.
On the otherhand and the downside of this is that now, he doesn't have any safety net.
If thinkgs don't go to plan, he would be the only one to blame because this Arsenal "revolution" is his.

At the beginning of the transfer window say we have £150m available and then after we spend a fraction of that say there is no money left. I use that figure as it is one he has used a number of times.

Does anyone know if the Adidas deal has been signed yet? If not, his departure could be bad timing.
