And Curtis Davies is a hugely more capable player in every department, compared to R
So the reason Keogh should not be at Derby is because he is not as good as Roy Mac, Colin Todd, Paul McGrath and Dave Mackay. I don't know if you noticed Scouse but which club in Championship last season did have defenders as good as these?
Basically Scouse, you are one of those people with the mental condition I was on about. Strange how it afflicts some people who very rarely go to games. You could try therapy on the NHS.
Spart, you could get into an argument in an empty room.
Keogh held talks with Sheff Weds last summer if I remember rightly.

Looks like it’s us that have had Jozefzoon bid accepted, can’t say I have seen a lot of him to be honest. Looks like Lampard is trying to introduce pace though.
Jack Marriot from Posh who we are supposed to be after is 5'8" He is far too small to be a centre forward, isn't he? (Don't mention Hughie Gallacher, Ramdini)

Seriously
Leeds fans have been creaming themselves that they got him
It said 'reported interest' Tommo, not 'held talks', whatever that means.
I hadn't seen that media trash, which is obviously what it was. A bit like when McClaren 'reportedly' wanted to take Keogh to Newcastle. Utter bo77ocks, I suspect.
Afternoon fellas,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florian_Jozefzoon
Should it be our bid that's accepted I hope he does well but I've got a few worries on this one:
i) Shouldn't we be looking to sell Anya first before getting him in? We've got Wilson, Lawrence, Thomas and Anya that can play on the wing, one out , one in ?
ii) He's had an ACL injury in the past and went from PSV to Brentford as a result. Given we've got two players that I can think of top of my head ( Forsyth and Thorne) who have had long term injuries, do we need a third?
iii) We ideally need an experienced winger who is direct, good at crossing or scoring goals. Jozefzoon hasn't been prolific , from the limited footage available not sure about his crossing ability ( but don't want to rely on YouTube footage, if you look at Butterfield's he looks immense!)
Does anyone on here know more about him? Consider him to be an underrated player that would do well in our side?

There is an article that I can’t find that states he held talks and they broke down at the late stage as he decided he wanted to stay at Derby and fight (probably offered less money) I will post the link when I find it

Referring to one quality tommo, not all three.
On a side note, Villa valuing Grealish at £30m-£40m. Can somebody please tell me exactly what he has done to warrant that sort of price tag? Madness!

They can value him at whatever they like.
Daniel Levy won't overpay, he'll take advantage of Villa's precarious financial position and squeeze them down to £15-20m max.
I think even that is excessive for a player who has had one decent season in the Championship and is a player with more hype than substance.

Leicester paid £20m+ for Maddison, that's modern day prices i'm afraid.
Yeah, if you want players for relatively cheap then just buy them from us.
People seem to think the Vydra offer from Leeds was over the top, but if you look at say Assombalonga, he went for more despite spending most of the time injured. Even recently most of the players leaving us have left for peanuts, when even other Championship players are going for much more.
Not sure why we always end up selling cheap, but we do. Villa might get their £30M.

Think we need to thank Stoke City for paying us decent money to take Rowett off our hands. Would either of these two be at Derby were Rowett still manager?

The Derby Way 9earchange. I've hated our transfer process for selling players for many years.
It started with the 3 Amigos in my opinion. Spurs fiddled a purchase of Tom Huddlestone for far less than he was worth. Who knows what happened to the difference between his real value and the £600k we received.
Well this is a disappointing scoreline
