Yes but look at the last 2 seasons for Liverpool:
2016 finished 4th

Normally I'm the first on here to defend Spurs from rival supporters, but I can't argue with this. Liverpool whilst not winning it, got to the CL final which is something Spurs will never achieve in my opinion. Liverpool have a team capable of winning it and winning the league. Our best chance of winning the league was the Leicester season and we choked on that to. We just don't win things.
If nothing else it made us a fortune.

Robin, I was in Thailand watching your game at 2am in a bar with locals and other pool fans you were very unlucky and if it weren't for Salah going off, you would of won that trust me. Not to worry Don- seriously. Discussed this in previous windows. Levy hasn’t even got started yet.
He delivers best under the pressure of an approaching deadline. It’s like at school when you have an essay due the next morning, you just can’t do it until the night before but you pull it out the bag.
Probably be better value for most players later in the window too. Spurs will get 3-4 players.

I just couldn't believe we were there tbh. 11 long assed years but I'm feeling pretty confident about next season especially if we get Fekir too - we don't really have a player like him and it gives us all kinds of options.

How do you know that Pool have not just massively downgraded whilst hugely overspending in the process. The fees they are being rinsed for are insane for the quality of player. They have also just let Can leave for free and replaced him with an inferior player.
Fabinho is the Brazilian Henderson, Keita a walking red card and there are better goalkeepers in the UK for a fraction of the price of Alisson (according to Chris Kirkland).
Also, Pool got to the CL final thanks to favourable refereeing, had every decision been given correctly they would have not even got past £ity.

No, they had a pissss easy draw and referees dragging them along. They got what they deserved in the final. And they are also massively over paying for players who have no PL experience. How do you know they won`t all flop, no guarantees at all with any player.
Posting an article lauding Pool`s spending while at the same time criticizing Spurs is totally unnecessary .
