I see this site as a sort of hand-me-down from the old BBC one. The Leicester page contained many a thread from peeps who could drift back to a far distant past and conjour up really interesting football related stories. That sort of contribution has largely disappeared now together with those members. I don’t recall there being much nastiness but then again, comments were fairly closely marshalled on the BBC site. Now, everything has been pushed beyond those parameters, it’s like civil war at times and it will never return to how it once was.

Towards the end of the 2015/16 season I ran one or two threads of a friendly nature, in parallel with ‘live match threads’ that became simply horrendous at times as the tension was mounting what with all the ‘will they win it or will they blow it?’ air of expectancy.

The only safe haven on our pages has been the predictions league, probably only because there’s nothing contentious about it.
