Conversely, I am perplexed at how you can think Whyte is a far superior fighter than Parker. What evidence is there to suggest this because I certainly cannot see any.

Because i've seen Parker's last 4 fights and i think he's lost 3 of them and looked crap in the other vs a journeyman, he doesn't seem to have any power at this level, his footwork is awful and he is basically a plodder, jab is non existent, Takam also could quite easily have beaten him but practically gave the fight away by doing a Chisora (having 3-4 rounds where he literally just does nothing and gets his breath back), Takam and Ruiz have both wobbled him, just haven't been quick enough to take advantage.

Conversely, DW has great footwork, a solid punch and has gone from strength to strength in his last few fights and looks like he is getting better and better, i'm ignoring the Browne fight as that was just pathetic, but he had solid wins vs all of Allen, Lewison and Helenius, and i still thought he was excellent vs AJ, he just gassed, and he has worked on his stamina endlessly since then, and Tibbs is an excellent trainer.

Must admit never use to like Whyte before the AJ fight but he has grown on me, deserves his chance and deserves to win as well, Parker is just embarrassing and doesn't belong at world level

Not saying i'll be right, i'm wrong just as much as i'm right, just the way i see it, i've never rated Parker, i like him as a person but i just don't rate him at all, never have
